Luxury Six Night Accommodation Package
Having everyone in the same hotels has become an integral aspect of the European BaT events. There
is always a great atmosphere amongst the clients and staff and we want this to continue with our
2019 Iberia trip. The social aspect is as much a part of our events as the track days, and something
we pride ourselves on. For us it’s not just about the track days, it’s about the experience and the trip
as a whole. Steered together by our common interest, it is the perfect opportunity to meet other
people on the trip and review your track driving with like-minded people over dinner and drinks after a
day at the circuit. Our aim is to make everyone feel part of the team and to build a strong relationship
from the start. An added bonus of our hotel package is that it relieves you from the arduous task of
searching hotels for yourself, just leave it to us.
To further improve on the interaction and to encourage early friendships to form, we are hosting a
welcome reception meal at Barcelo Montecastillo Golf Club on the evening of Sunday 22nd September
2019 at 20:00. At the end of the event, we will also be hosting a finale dinner at the Parador De Ronda on
Friday 27th September at 20:00, which will be a 3 course set menu dinner, this is included as part of
the luxury hotel package.

History Around the city are remains of prehistoric settlements
dating to the Neolithic Age, including the rock paintings of
Cueva de la Pileta. The partially intact Baños
árabes ("Arab baths") are found below the city and date
back to the 13th and 14th centuries. Three
bridges, Puente Romano ("Roman Bridge", also known
as the Puente San Miguel), Puente Viejo("Old Bridge",
also known as the Puente Árabe or "Arab Bridge"),
and Puente Nuevo("New Bridge"), span the canyon and
offer spectacular views.
Nearby Discover traces of the old medina (Arab quarter) on the southern bank of the
Guadalevín River, cross the Puente Nuevo (New Bridge) and walk along tree-
lined Alameda del Tajo and the avenues bursting with vegetation, which lead
to a spectacular scenic overlook on the edge of the abyss. The Puente Nuevo
and Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Ronda (the city's
bullring) have come to symbolize Ronda and are must-see sights. The
bullring, Plaza de Toros, is now a museum, and visitors can stroll out into the
arena. It is the second oldest bull fighting arena in Spain and was
immortalized by Ernest Hemingway in his novel Death in the Afternoon. After
visiting the Plaza de Toros, tourists can walk along the Calle Virgen de la Paz
to the Alameda de José Antonio. This beautiful 18th-century park has a broad
promenade, ideal for relaxing or taking a leisurely stroll. The park also offers
sensational views. Areas of the park sit on projecting spurs of Ronda's rocky
plateau with balconies for viewing.
The Puente Nuevo is an incredible piece of work 98 meters in height. It was
built using ashlar quarried at the bottom of the Tagus Gorge and designed to
allow the city to expand by connecting the old town with the modern
Mercadillo quarter. From the vantage point of this iconic bridge, the view of
the houses overhanging the precipice is spectacular.

Jerez Circuit
Circuito de Jerez is one of the most attractive tracks for both motorbikes and cars. Formula One
teams have had Jerez as their home testing circuit for many years, which backs up the quality of the
facilities.
For the motorbike riders Jerez is, together with Assen, the reference. Its 13 curves give plenty of
possibilities when tuning up the machines. Its 4.423m of length (4.428m with chicane) houses a
variety of low, medium and fast speed curves, technically ideal to work the mechanics in-depth, as
recognised by the top motor racing teams, who have made the circuit an international reference
point for testing along the year, particularly in the pre-season.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have valid health insurance to
participate in any driving activities on this track. Please read
the yellow note box on page 19 for more information.

Portimao Circuit
Portimao circuit was built from scratch in just six months and opened in 2008. From the moment
you turn in the main entrance you can’t fail to be impressed with this no compromise state of the art
motorsport facility. There are 32 different possible layouts at Portimao circuit, with lengths ranging from 3,465m, the shortest version, to 4,684m for the F1 version (the longest), making it suitable for hosting all types of automobile and motorcycling world championships at the highest level of competition. The different combinations of layouts allow users to choose between the faster, challenging versions or the twisty, more technical versions. Given the various layouts of the track, we consider the FIA Slow Fast (F1) version to be the standard version.
This circuit has a high-speed roller coaster style layout like no other. It is an amazing technical race
track with many elevation changes and blind crests with good opportunities to overtake because of the
circuit width. This circuit, much like the old school circuits, needs respect, but once you get the hang of
the blind crests and tricky cambers it’s somewhere you can really let yourself go.
Facilities Restaurant, there is a self service restaurant

Ascari Circuit
The Ascari circuit was opened in 2003, Ascari is the longest track in Spain, and “one of the
most spectacular in the world”. Ascari is located near Ronda (Malaga), in an area of
incomparable natural beauty. The design imperative was to take the existing rugged terrain
into account and has resulted in a track whose distinctive character is challenging and
appealing to the driver, yet whose presence has minimal negative impact on the
environment.
The racetrack is 5425 meters long and has 13 right-hander and 13 left-hander bends, some of
which have been upgraded with elevations (up to 18%). It is about 12 meters wide over its entire
length. The climbs and gradients are up to 12%. The track can be divided into three different
round courses with crossbars.

Additional Track Day Information
Mechanical Support Tyre changing facilities are available at all venues. We strongly recommend that you inform us if you
require any work during this trip. If you want your wheels swapping at the end of the day please ensure
you have arranged a time slot with our mechanics. We are also able to perform some mechanical tasks
including changing of brake pads and car fluids. Please note that we do not carry spares with us so you
will need to provide these. Again time slots will need to be arranged with our staff. All of the above
services are chargeable.
Garages Garages are available for reservation on each day for £300 per garage. If you would like to reserve a garage
please do this prior to the event. You can edit your booking to add one if needed. Platinum members have
shared use of a garage as part of their membership package.
Fuel Details of fuel provision are with the circuit information. This will be confirmed in our final instructions for
the event. Please note it may not be possible to purchase fuel on-site with a credit card. Therefore we
recommend you have Euro cash to pay for on-site fuel.
Tuition Professional Grade ‘A’ and ‘S’ ARDS instructors will be present at all track days. All our instructors travel from
the UK and know the circuits well. Instruction is recommended to all participants who have not been to the
venues before as it not only familiarises you with the circuit, but also offers you hints and tips to improve your
track driving. Instruction sessions are available from just £50 each and can be booked online to secure your
time slot and preferred instructor.
Food & Drink All three circuits have exclusive catering rights, meaning we are unable to provide catering ourselves,
however we will still be offering our usual complimentary hot and cold drink service as we would normally
on our European events.
IMPORTANT NOTE - Jerez Circuit - Proof of health Insurance The hospitals local to Jerez do not recognise the European Health Insurance Card as a valid payment
method for health care when participating in activities at the circuit. Therefore, we will obtain an
insurance policy to cover all guests and staff. You are more than welcome to use your own health
insurance and would recommend purchasing travel insurance for the trip.

BaT Professional Photography & Car Transportation
There will be a professional motorsport photographer in attendance taking pictures of all participants
from various points around the circuits. These will be available to view/buy on-site and via our website
when we return to the UK. Please remember to tape-up (or take off) your number plate if you don’t
want to be spotted at the circuit – as all images are uploaded to our website unedited.

BaT Car Transportation
For your convenience, we offer a car transportation service whereby your car is
taken fully insured by a covered car transporter from the UK to all three circuits
and finally back to the UK. Several trucks will be departing from Donington Park
Circuit, we therefore ask your car is here no later than close of day Tuesday 17th
September. If you intend to book ‘Bring my Car’, please note your car must be
dropped off at our workshop the week before the truck departs.
Exact pricing will depend on the size and weight of your car, as well as any
wheels/tyres and tools that need to be carried. The price for 2019 is £1995 for
covered transport or £1495 for open transport. Last booking will be 31st July
although sold on a first come first serve basis. This includes your luggage inside
the cockpit, and with a separate set of wheels & tyres.
European clients can have their cars transported too but the price is the same
as travelling from the UK.

Safety Briefing & Summary
Overtaking Rules Overtake on the straights only, not under braking and not round corners.
Overtake on the LEFT hand side only.
Overtake BY CONSENT ONLY. This means the car in front must have clearly indicated and pulled
over to the right before any overtaking manoeuvre can be made. If the car in front is not indicating,
assume they have not seen you.
Powerful cars are expected to lift off the throttle on the straights to allow the less powerful cars to
pass before the braking zone.
If these rules are obeyed, then car-to-car contact is impossible and the only element of danger is your
own driving.
Finally, remember to do a cool down lap each time before you return to the pits and
avoid using the hand brake when parked up.
General Notes No hand-held cameras are allowed. All cameras must be securely mounted.
Slick tyres are not permitted without adequate roll-over protection.
Please ensure you have your towing-eye fitted before venturing out on track.
All participants must have covered arms and legs when out on track.
