LENTEN DAY OF SERVICE 2019 The 18th annual

St. Patrick Lenten Day of Service will be held on

Saturday, April 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A part of

St. Patrick life since 2002, Lenten Day of Service is a

day set aside for parishioners to come together to

serve the Lord through Fellowship and through

Service. Through Fellowship, you might meet

someone new in the parish, that person or persons

you've seen at Mass and just have not met them as yet.

You can learn their name, who they are, where they

work, etc. You just might have something in

common. Through Service, volunteer your Talent,

your Time and your Commitment to St. Patrick. Once

again, Larry Cannon is in charge of planning the

specifics, including lining up volunteers, determining

the projects to be completed, and supervising the

completion of those projects. Sign-up is available in

the narthex. Lunch will be provided.

ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED – Be a part of the

largest Celebration in our Liturgical year! The

Palm Sunday Vigil Mass on Saturday evening, April

13th will need 4 Altar Servers. We only have one. If

any of our servers (youth or adult) can help out on April

13th ( Saturday ) for that 4:00 pm Mass, please let Janet

Rubino know as soon as possible. Thanks so much.

THANK YOU for your donations to the Clean out

for Christ and Crafting for Christ campaign. We had

a very successful three day sale in the Trash and

Treasure booth during Springfest. I would also like

to thank my small army of friends and family that

helped to price, sort, clean, set up, work as cashiers,

restock, tear down and clean up after the event.

Your hard work is most appreciated and I am

blessed to have all of your help. Please watch the

bulletin in the future for announcements concerning

future yard sale's !!! Margaret Pender

Third Sunday of Lent: In today’s Gospel Jesus is quite clear in his message: “bear fruit or be cut down.” This Lent we are called to cultivate and fertilize our spiritual lives through prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Through your almsgiving you are performing a good work; far greater than you think. Know that your nickel, dime or quarter is multiplied by the coins placed by others in the St. Vincent de Paul Poor Envelope.

who fell into an icy Missouri river and was trapped for 45 minutes. While everyone else thought John would

not recover, his mother (played by Chrissy Metz of This Is Us fame) never gave up hope, and insisted that

everyone pray John back to life ... and they did! To purchase tickets, and to learn more, go to

SaintPatrickCC.com/SPIRIT, where you can also watch the official trailer. If you are unable to purchase tickets

THE VISITS TO THE SICK If you are ill and in need of the Sacraments and would like a visit from Fr. Vernon, he has

asked that you (or an immediate family member if you are too ill) contact him through the church office. The surest way

of getting the message to Father is by speaking to him personally during office hours or calling the church office and

leaving a message either on the answering machine or with a member of the office staff.

THE IMPORTANCE OF CANS! Thank you for your contribution of aluminum cans to benefit our youth programs at

the church. Please remember to rinse your cans after use and do not crush them in any way so that they will fit into our

can crusher properly. Finally, please deposit cans in the receptacle in the corner of the upper parking lot ensuring that they

are placed in bags that are tied so that the cans do not fall out when retrieved by our volunteers. We appreciate everyone’s

cooperation and continue to SAVE THOSE CANS!
