Job Description for CEO NMDC Foundation Designation Chief Executive Officer Reporting to CMD and board of directors Location While the person will be based in Hyderabad, She / he will be required to undertake frequent travel across the country. Qualification Masters in public policy/ development management/ rural management/ forest management/ CSR/ Sustainability from premier institutions like IIT,IIM,IRMA, IIFM etc. Experience We seek applications from candidates with proven leadership credentials in at least one of the Foundation’s domains of work. The person should have a minimum of 15 years of work experience preferably in the development sector, including relevant experience in grant-making, with enough strategic experience in a leadership role where he / she was responsible for organization building, human resource development & financial management functions w r.t CSR activities. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience of heading a large foundation or CSR department. Skills / Knowledge Should have proven experience in providing strategic, programmatic, financial and administrative leadership to a large organization in the development or corporate sector. Strong proven project management skills (including program planning, operations management and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting). Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills, including staff management experience and the ability to build and lead teams. Ability to build and maintain relationships and partnerships with outside organizations and with senior executives and represent company interests. Strong written, communication skills in English. Proficiency in using social media and the web as the medium of outreach. Human Resources Development: Determine Foundation’s needs and structure and strengthen policies & programs to ensure training, motivation & retention of human resources.

Representation and Public Relations: Build the reputation and brand of the Foundation and its work with all external stakeholders – governments, NGO partners, board and advisors, internal and external stakeholders.

Finance and Administration related: Ensure financial integrity by ensuring appropriate systems of account maintenance, due diligence and checks and balances. Ensure and deliver financial reporting to the board in collaboration with the Head of Finance. The person will be required to implement and lead a continuous quality improvement process across all areas of operations – focusing on systems /process improvement. Take overall ownership and responsibility of the day-to-day operations and administration of the foundation.

Governance and Compliance: Manage and attend all meetings of the board of Directors. Ensure legal compliance of all operations.

Documentation & Report preparation: Oversee & Execute the documentation and report preparation for the internal and external stakeholders. Also assist NMDC Limited for the same.

Remuneration: Initial Consolidated Monthly Emolument of Rs.2.25 Lakh (Rupees Two Lakh Twenty Five Thousand only). Yearly increase in consolidated monthly emolument will be upto 10% on yearly basis based upon performance. Applicable GST thereon shall be borne by the Company. On tour, TA/DA entitlement shall be on par with the entitlements of ‘General Manager’ in NMDC Limited. Local Transport / Conveyance shall be provided as per need. Mobile (communication) expenses – Upto Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) per month, based on self-certification basis. Terms of Engagement: The successful candidate will be appointed on a Fixed-tenure basis, initially for a period of three (03) years, renewable on mutual consent. Termination of Engagement: On three months’ notice on either side.
