CONTROLLER POSITION

Boulder Country Club is a full service country club established in 1936, which resides in the north east side of Boulder area. This 835 member private club is seeking a full time controller to oversee the club’s financial operations as well as office manager for the administrative department. The club’s annual operational budget is 7.2 million. The controller reports directly to the General Manager.

The club has an 18-hole championship course, a 9 hole Par-3 course, full service practice facilities including a state of the art short game complex, a fully serviced Athletic Center of which has a indoor pool, 3 indoor tennis courts, a cardio room, weight room, spa services, 4 Har-Tru outdoor tennis courts, 2 clay courts, a large outdoor pool and complimentary group exercise classes. The club includes a 30,000 square foot clubhouse with full service dining facility that operates 11 months of the year. The club’s annual operational budget is 7.2 million. The controller reports directly to the General Manager.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate for controller at Boulder Country Club will be someone whom has a degree in accounting along with 10 to 15 years of experience being a controller with an emphasis in the private club or hospitality industry with experience in all areas of accounting to include financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. The candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent leadership abilities, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of club operations as well as detail oriented. Knowledge in risk management is required as well as responsibility for human resources and information technology. Candidates will demonstrate proven success in the delivery of high levels of service.

JOB VALUE/COMPENSTAION:

The salary for the club controller position is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Compensation benefits include; medical, dental, 401k plan, meal program and vacation.
