Led by the spirit and example of the Holy Family, our parish community embraces as its mission the salvation of all people.

Rooted in the celebration of the Eucharist, we go forth to serve, to educate, and to live daily the message of Jesus Christ.

ROSARY will be prayed before each daily Mass at 7:10 a.m. before 7:30 a.m. Mass. Come, pray, & stay for Mass.

Mass Schedule Weekend Liturgies Saturday 4:30 p.m. Sunday 8:00 a.m. Sunday 10:00 a.m. Weekday Liturgies— Monday 7:30 a.m. Tuesday 7:30 a.m. Wednesday 7:30 a.m. Thursday 7:30 a.m. Friday 7:30 a.m. Sacrament of Reconciliation Saturday at 3:30 p.m. or by appointment. Communion Calls Please contact the parish office to make arrangements. Sacrament of Baptism Arrangements for Baptisms are made by calling the parish office. Participation at the Baptismal Preparation Class for parents is a requirement for the celebration of the sacrament. Sacrament of Marriage Arrangements for all weddings must be made at least six (6)months in advance. Please call the parish office. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Classes for those interested in joining the Catholic faith begin in the fall of each year and continue through the Easter season. Please call Sr. Janet to inquire about the sessions.

DEAR HOLY FAMILY PARISHIONERS: Time for a “prayer check.” How is your prayer life today? Would it be, as they say, “nothing to brag about?” Or is it improving day by day? Does the thought of your prayer life enter your mind? Is prayer something important to you as a Catholic? Or is it something you attend to when you need it or have time for it? It is good for all of us to take time to check out where our prayer life is at this very moment. Prayer is that vehicle by which we come into closer contact with the Lord. And that is always a good thing. Prayer helps us to cope with everyday problems & concerns. Prayer silences us for a while & enables us to relax & just be with Jesus. Prayer leads us to a deeper appreciation of the many blessings bestowed upon us by God. Prayer helps us to see the will of the Lord for our lives. Prayer lets us hear the voice of Christ guiding us along our journey of life. Prayer can lead us to put our faith into action & be of service to one another. Prayer energizes us. Is prayer a priority in our lives? Do we “make time, no matter what” to pray, or is it something that gets put “on the back burner” until it “fits into our schedule?” Do we, as St. Teresa of Calcutta, (Mother Teresa), said: “Take time & trouble to pray”? Do we worry about our prayer health? We have check-ups & doctor visits when we have a physical problem or a health concern. What about when we have a spiritual problem or concern? Do we take action immediately or seek a remedy to the situation through prayer? Let us all make sure our prayer life is the healthiest it can be. That may mean a “prayer check-up” right this very minute. Let’s pray about our prayer life. YOUR PASTOR WHO PRAYS FOR YOU DAILY, FR. JOE PLEASE NOTE: Daily Mass at 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. Each daily Mass will be preced-ed by a 7:10 a.m. Rosary. NOTE: BOTH the Daily Masses & the Rosaries preceding the Masses will be live-streamed. Also, when coming to Daily Mass, safe distancing will need to be practiced, the same as the 3 weekend Masses. PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN CLASSES

All parents of children who are attending Holy Fam-ily School & who will be volunteering at the school will need the class. Grandparents are also encouraged to take the class. If you are thinking of volunteering, we encourage you to take this class. You only have to take it once, and af-ter your background check, you are ready to volunteer! God, our Creator, Life is Your gift to me. Through Baptism, You invite me to share the gift of my life in service to oth-ers. I ask LORD, "Who will be Your Priest, Deacon, Brother, Sister, Missionary, Lay Minister? Is it I?" Give me the courage and generosity to re-spond to Your love, to Your call. Give those you have called to the married and the single state the graces their lives require. I pray especially for those who serve You as Religious. Keep them close to You. This we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER FOR RACE RELATIONS----Jesus, our brother, You revealed God through Your wise words and loving deeds, and we en-counter You still today in the faces of those whom society has pushed to the margins. Guide us, through the love You revealed, to establish the justice You proclaimed, that all peoples might dwell in harmo-ny and peace, united by that one love that binds us to each other, and to You. AMEN.

STORM DAMAGE: The tree on the east side of church, dedicated years ago in memory of Jerri Smith, was hit by lightning several years ago & was damaged by the se-vere storm on July 11th. With these two hits, it needed to be taken out. This past week, members of our parish Knights of Columbus removed it for us. Thanks to those men for doing this so quickly.

PRAYER FOR PROTECTION FROM THE CORONA VIRUS Our Father Who Art In Heaven, please blanket our nation in protection from the Co-rona virus. Thank you for healing our land and protecting those who are most vul-nerable. Give peace to those who struggle with loneliness and isolation, and endurance to the many businesses that are affected by our feeble attempts to control Corona. Come to the bedside of those who are struggling with the effects of contracting the virus. Please protect and give guidance to those healthcare workers who place themselves in danger caring for the sick. Hear our prayer O Lord. We pray this in the powerful and victorious name of your only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.
