CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU, CAROL!
Carol Serafin, Holy Trinity's Pastoral Associate for Catechesis, is retiring at the end of June after 33 years of service to our parish. Throughout those years, Carol has worn many hats; to list a few -- teacher at Holy Trinity School, director of our religious education and sacramental preparation programs, coordinator of liturgical ministries, member and leader of Christian Mothers, choir member, volunteer in many Church events, and devoted parishioner. Having done so, Carol has touched a lot of our parishioners' lives over the course of her time here. Please join your fellow parishioners at a reception following the 11:00 AM Mass on July 12 to celebrate Carol's retirement and thank her for her many years of ministry at Holy Trinity!
Please note that every attempt will be made to follow CDC guidelines.
Welcome
Brooks Ross Ziolko
son of Zachery and Jaclyn Ziolko who is the newest member of our parish family through
the Sacrament of Baptism on June 14, 2020. May God bless him.
June 22–29
Beginning June 22, the Feast of Saints Thomas More and John Fisher, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops cele-brates Religious Freedom Week. Join us in promoting religious free-
All people desire to know their Creator. All people have a natural impulse to seek the good and to live in accordance with that good. All people can flourish when they pursue the truth about God and respond To the truth.
Religious freedom means that all people have the space to flourish. Religious freedom is both an American value and an important part of Catholic teaching on human dignity. When we promote religious freedom, we promote the common good and thus strengthen the life of our nation and the community of nations.

FROM THE DESK OF FATHER ANTHONY……………………………………………
I am happy to announce that we resume our regular Sunday Mass schedule. Our 3 Masses will be celebrated this weekend at their usual times. It is good to see so many parishioners and visitors returning to Mass. Please note that masks should be worn. Also, we are taking care to clean and sanitize pews and fixtures after every Mass. If you would like to assist us with this protocol, please let us know. Thanks!
Tomorrow begins the observance of Religious Freedom Week, sponsored by the Bishops of the United States of America. Please see elsewhere in the bulletin for an explanation of Religious Freedom Week. You may also find more information at www.usccb.org/ReligiousFreedomWeek. Please pray that we will always enjoy the God-given freedom to worship God and to practice our faith. This right is often threatened – don’t take it for granted.
Saturday, June 20 marks the first day of summer. The Summer Solstice occurs at 5:44PM. The first day of summer is often referred to as the longest day of the year, because the sun rises the earliest in the morning and sets the latest in the evening of this day. However, once the longest day runs its course, the days immediately begin to get a little “shorter” every day, until the shortest day occurs in December on the first day of winter. Immediately following the first day of summer, we celebrate the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, six months before the celebration of the Nativity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, when the days begin to grow “longer” again. St. John the Baptist said, “[Jesus] must increase, I must decrease.” It makes sense that the days become longer and brighter, filled with more light, when Jesus, the True Light, is born and enters a world darkened by sin. Let’s allow the light of Christ to shine through our lives, also.
Happy Father’s Day to the fathers of our parish! I pray that you have a great day and have many blessings on your special day. St. Joseph is the most outstanding example of fatherhood for all Christian fathers. Just as St. Joseph was entrusted with the care of Jesus and His Blessed Mother, fathers are called to be faithful husbands and good providers for their children. May St. Joseph intercede for our fathers and may they always know the love of God in their lives. I hope that children will also show their fathers how much they love them.
Thinking about Father’s Day today reminds me that Mother’s Day was celebrated in the midst of the “lockdown” we were experiencing during the pandemic. Perhaps mothers will be honored today, also – I would imagine that many joint celebrations might occur today. May all mothers be blessed, also.
As of Monday, June 15, we have received 166 gifts to the 2020 Diocesan Lenten Appeal, for a total of $76,300. We have surpassed the diocesan goal of $48,304 by $27,996. Thanks to all who have so generously shared with the Diocese and the parish their prayers and material blessings.

I would like to thank everyone that has helped to disin-fect the church after Mass and encourage others to help as well. Many hands make the work light. We could also use volunteers that can help folks find seating.
