A couple of Milk River rats who have fished a pile of Milk River Catfish Classics but have never won, brothers Ryan and Tyler George teamed up together this year and got the job done! Their 38.95 pounds on five cats edged Jason & Tianna Flaten by get this a razor thin two-tenths of a pound. Previously, Tyler and Jason had teamed up together from 2008-2012. Two very similar baskets of fish, said tourney director Brenner Flaten, and somehow we lucked out and saved Tyler and Ryans basket for the final weight of the night. They were on stage about a minute after Jason and Tianna weighed their basket. The 0.20 victory margin in last nights Cat Classic is the slimmest margin of victory in Cat Classic history. It is also the CLOSEST finish in Montana Cats Circuit history. Thats 37 tournaments and weve never seen a closer battle! It was also the second and third best weights in Cat Classic history behind Jerry and Nate Molstads 40.95 pounds set in 2009. Awesome. Complete results can be found inside todays Buzz.
