Chad Stradwick

The first twenty years of my life were characterized by my trying to find life in all the wrong places. No matter what I tried, guys, substances or material things, I still felt empty. God used Campus Crusade to author a new story of redemption in my life after I attended a spring break conference.

When I came to college, I lived for my own comfort. I didn’t take risks. I wasn’t vulnerable and was paralyzed in a lot of fear and insecurity. Through the acceptance of Christian community I began to get out of my comfort zone, placing my confidence in Christ and what He did for me. God has continued to give me boldness to live out my Christian faith and is now calling me to take an even bigger step to serve him. Next fall, I will be moving overseas to serve in East Asia for a year.

Please pray for our recent WVU graduates. These 3 students are recent graduates who are going into full-time ministry. Chad and Maggie are going to intern at WVU and Amanda is going to East Asia. There are many other graduating seniors who are going into full-time ministry. Another student not pictured is Sarah Johnson who is coming on staff with Campus Crusade to take the Jesus film to remote parts of the world to share the gospel. Brian Daugherty is graduating in December and spending the next year in Australia.

Many of our recent graduates are doing a second year of ministry: Heather Louk (East Asia) and Kaitlin Keefe (Venezuela) will both be serving in the Tidewater VA area this coming year.

Please pray that our students will walk with God and be spiritual multipliers. 2 Timothy 2:2 “and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

In Christ,

WVU Staff Team

Up until my junior year, I was living for myself. I was involved with the wrong crowd, drugs & alcohol surrounded me 24/7 and I would hurt as many feelings as needed to gratify the desires of my flesh. Growing up, I went to church a few times and knew who Jesus was but my actions denied Him. One day though, a friend invited me to come check out Campus Crusade. After going for a while, God really showed me His love through His people and the Gospel started to make sense to me. Now 3 years later, I’ve

grown tremendously in Christ and I am going to give a year of my life to full-time ministry next year at WVU.
