23rd Annual Summerfest Car & Motorcycle Show ~ Art Fair ~ Classic Car Raffle

Summerfest is fast approaching! If you’ve chosen to support the Chamber’s ONE annual major fundraising event as a sponsor, or have purchased or sold Classic Car Raffle tickets, we thank you. As a reminder - if you received 9 Classic Car Raffle tickets via mail please return any sold or unsold tickets to the Chamber office no later than Wednesday 06/12 or call the office to arrange for us to retrieve them. They must be returned to us for internal and State of MI auditing purposes.
We hope you, your family and friends attend Summerfest. Cool cars and motorcycles, tasty food (including Saucy Dog’s BBQ), and fine original art and crafts for sale await you in the first ever juried art fair, NEW THIS YEAR, a collaborative effort between the Chamber and Gallery 49 Artist Co-op. Over the course of the weekend, harness your flower power and join us for a family friendly interactive art project, painting a blank canvas (a white cargo van!) with 1960’s themed designs! On Saturday, you might be the lucky one chosen to ride in a hot air balloon courtesy of RE/MAX Realty - Cathy Galloway (see p. 7); on Sunday, you could be chosen the lucky winner of the 1973 Dodge Challenger (see p. 8).

Introducing Our Summer Intern Rachel O’Heran
Hello! My name is Rachel O’Heran and I am a senior at Butler University studying International Business. I am a Hillsdale native and was an active member of the Business Professionals of America chapter at Hillsdale High School from which I graduated in 2011. I have the itch to travel and love learning about different cultures and languages. Last fall I traveled to South Africa and spent the semester studying its rich history and culture. This summer I am serving as the Chamber intern. I’m an out of the box thinker, have a creative bent, and enjoy working on marketing and advertising projects. I look forward to getting to know our members and would like to thank all of you I’ve come into contact with thus far for being so warm and welcoming.
