Physical Features A tiger’s stripes helps it

camouflage in tall grass. A tiger can also camouflage in the jungle so when an animal comes it can kill it. It can even kill a strong animal.

The sun on the grass makes the grass look orange but some parts of the grass makes it looks like a tiger’s stripes.

A tiger is the biggest cat. The tiger’s big claws can take down a bigger animal.

A tiger weighs 440 pounds.

Habitat

All tigers have their own private territory.

To show the other tigers their territory, they scent mark their territory. They also scratch. Once another tiger smells the scent, it makes a weird face

Diet – How the Tiger Gets Its Food

A tiger gets its food by chasing their prey into the water. A tiger hidesbehind tall grass andbehind rocks. A tigerdoesn’t attack it’s prey until it is 30 feet away.Then it attacks.

was discovered in 2004. It was once a part of the Indochinese tiger . But scientist found small differences. They decided the Malayan tiger was a separate subspecies.

When a female tiger

roars, it is trying to attract a male. A tiger is not always rough.

Sometimes it is calm

and gentle.
