MADD SUCCESS (Music And Drama/Dance) Thank you to all the families and friends of Berinba that were able to make it along to the performance last night. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students and staff to showcase some of the fantastic creative arts opportunities we have here at Berinba. (See photos of MADD performers below).

KINDERGARTEN INTERVIEWS Early in Term 4 I will begin to invite parents of 2016 Kindergarten students in for interviews to help with enrolment questions and discuss transition. If you haven’t yet contacted the school for enrolment information please do so soon-er rather than later as this will help us plan for your new little Berinba student.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY SAFETY As the school holidays approach, it is important to remember when walking near roads, on footpaths, near driveways and in parks always: * Hold your child’s hand * Talk to your child about road safety * Point out road safety dangers and differences in new environments. SCHOOL SPECTACULAR - CAKE STALL: A BIG THANK YOU to all the families that donated or helped at our cake stall held 5 September. We raised $380.

INTERNATIONAL “TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY” and “TURNING WAVE” PERFORMANCE: Friday 18 September On the last day of term Berinba will be celebrating Talk like a Pirate Day. Students are invited to wear a pirate costume. No donations will be taken. Also, on Friday at 1.45pm the Turning Wave performance will be held at Berinba at a cost of $2 per student which students should bring in on the day.
