JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning and maintenance is the biggest part of this job. Make sure that all the tools and utensils needed for a cooking task and specific meal are washed and ready to use.

• They are in charge of storing and organizing the walk-in freezer, refrigerator, and stock room. Make sure that all necessary equipment is properly stored and readily available for kitchen staff.

• Additional tasks (in a small restaurant): bus tables, refill water glasses for patrons, or sweep the dining room floor.

• Be able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy. • Stand and walk for long hours (up to 4 hrs.)• Learn basic procedures and techniques. • Perform routine work or the same task over

Job Responsibilities- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand- Clean garbage cans with water or steam- unloading and loading the dishes and cutlery into dish trays. - Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels
