• Lack of trusting relationships with adults
• Lack of preparation for real life
• Lack of family experience

Project Goal- To prepare orphans and children in boarding schools to live productively
and independently through professional mentoring.

orphanages and boarding schools of Belarus• Find a mentor for each of the orphans• Prepare graduates for independent life

needed.

Mentoring
Mentoring – is a process in which one person (mentor) offers help and
training to develop another person (in this case an orphan).
Mentor
Mentor – is a person who is willing to devote time, knowledge and
energy to a child with the goal of becoming a significant, close person
in the life of the child.
Goal of mentor
Goal of mentor– is to help prepare a child for independent live in society.
Objectives of mentor• To form emotionally meaningful, stable and long-term
relationships in the life of an orphan• To help a child develop their potential, reveal their
strengths and set life goals• To help identify a child's personal goals and discover ways
of achieving them• To pass knowledge and experience to a child, encourage
him to make right choices in life, support their education, and increase their self-esteem
• To contribute to the formation of a child's life skills
Target group of the project
• orphans and children left without parental care who study in orphanages and boarding schools –High school youth, ages 11 to 18
• graduates up to 23 years old
