COFFEE & COMPANY

For three Sundays out of the month, there

is a “behind the scenes team” that serves

our parish by setting up our time of fellow-

ship.

These are our Coffee and Company

Coordinators. Because of their service, our parish family is

able to enjoy fellowship and treats.

Coordinators serve about 3 Sundays a year, and would re-

ally appreciate more support. Our goal is to have two teams

serve each weekend, to share the responsibility.

It’s a great way to meet more of our parish family, and be a

part of our community in a new way.

If you/your family would be interested in joining a team of

coordinators as a way to serve our community, please con-

tact Becky for more information: [email protected].

in every aspect of their lives.

more of these vital ministries, please contact the

PROJECT RACHEL: FOR MEN & WOMEN

Men experience many of the same painful

emotions as women after abortion, but they

often mistakenly believe their feelings are un-

warranted. Without an outlet, men may feel

withdrawn, depressed or emotionally volatile.

The pain of abortion affects all involved, both

women and men. We can help.

VOTIVE CANDLES

We have a wonderful team of “Votive

Angels” that clean, replace, and take

care of the votive candles by the Blessed

Mary and St. Joseph votive areas.

These “Angels” are responsible for the upkeep of these

candles. We ask that no one but these “Angels” take care of

these candles.

For fire safety, please do not extinguish, move, or replace

another person’s lighted candle. Thank you.

SINGLES COMMUNITY SOCIAL

Singles with Heart is a group for

singles in our community who are

looking for opportunities which nour-

ish the social, educational and spir-

itual lives of single adults.

The group usually meets on the sec-

ond Saturday of the month at 6:15-8:30 pm at St. Vincent's.

The evening typically includes a potluck supper, time for

socializing, and an activity.

Other planned activities are announced in the bulletin the

weekend before the event. You can also sign up for our

email list and receive information about upcoming activities.

All of us who walk the road of life, with all of its responsibili-

ties and challenges, without a spouse or life partner, under-

stand that sometimes it just helps to have a friend to go to

Mass or attend a parish event with. Life is richer when you

have like-minded friends to go with to a movie, a concert, a

lecture, a play.

It’s a cherished moment when someone else who really

understands our world can lend us their ear, and more faith

and love than we have at the moment, during times when

our kids, our jobs, or aging parents are creating some extra

heartache or worry.

You are welcome to bring single friends—they do not need

to be St. Vincent’s parishioners.

There are no requirements for commitment or participation,

so please join us if you can! Questions? Please contact:

CHILDREN'S CHOIR

The parish children's choir

invites any kids in grades 1-6 to

join us for weekly rehearsals and

once/month Mass. No music

experience is required, just a

love of singing!

Rehearsals are held in the West

Meeting Room on Sundays from

10:00—10:45 am. Bring a friend or two - this informal, fun

choir is a great way for kids to participate in Mass!
