The United Kingdom is a country that consists of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In fact, the official name of the country is "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland." Great Britain is the name of the island northwest of France and east of Ireland that consists of three regions: England, Wales and Scotland.

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated by the Irish. They organize parades with a lot of food and drink, and also there are activities for kids such as crafts, coloring and games. Its a time for fun. St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17, his religious feast day and the anniversary of his death in the fifth century. Irish families would traditionally attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon.

Scots are slim and wiry, with high cheek bones. Some older Scots men tend to have a lot of facial hair, bushy eyebrows etc. A red nose is often the result of drinking too much Whisky!
