5. Laitetta käytettäessä ulkona on käytettävä myös ulkokäyttöön tarkoitettuja jatkojohtoja, joista löytyy asianmukaiset merkinnät.

6. Jatkojohdon käyttöä tulisi välttää. Mikäli sen käyttö kuitenkin on välttämätöntä, varmista että jatkojohto ja sen pistoke ovat tyypiltään, kooltaan, muodoltaan sekä kaikilta muilta ominaisuuk-siltaan laitteen johtoa ja pistoketta vastaava sekä että se on oikein johdotettu ja hyväkuntoinen. Älä käytä jatkojohtoa, jonka halkaisija on alle 2,5 mm2 tai pituus yli 20 m, muuten laitteen moottori saattaa vaurioitua. Älä yhdistä useaa jatkojohtoa peräkkäin.

Käyttäjän turvallisuus 1. Ole aina tarkkana, keskity työhösi ja käytä tervettä järkeä laitetta käyttäessäsi. Älä koskaan käy-

tä laitetta väsyneenä, sairaana tai alkoholin, lääkkeiden, huumeiden tai muiden havainto- ja re-aktiokykyyn vaikuttavien aineiden vaikutuksen alaisena. Hetkenkin tarkkaavaisuuden puute saattaa aiheuttaa vakavia henkilövahinkoja.

2. Käytä tarvittavia turvavarusteita. Suojalaseja ja kuulosuojaimia tulee käyttää aina laitetta käytet-täessä. Myös kasvo- ja hengityssuojainta, luistamattomia jalkineita sekä pääsuojainta tulee käyt-tää tarpeen vaatiessa.

3. Vältä tahatonta käynnistystä. Varmista, että laitteen kytkin on off-asennossa ennen kuin työnnät pistokkeen pistorasiaan. Älä pidä sormea katkaisimella tarpeettomasti, etenkään laitetta kuljetta-essasi, sillä tämä saattaa aiheuttaa vaaratilanteen.

4. Tarkista aina ennen laitteen käynnistämistä, että kaikki avaimet ja säätötyökalut on varmasti poistettu.

5. Älä kurkottele. Seiso aina mahdollisimman hyvin tasapainossa. Tällöin hallitset laitteen parem-min yllättävissä tilanteissa.

6. Pukeudu asianmukaisesti. Älä käytä väljiä vaatteita tai koruja, sillä ne voivat jäädä liikkuvien osien väliin. Suojaa pitkät hiukset esim. hiusverkolla.

7. Mikäli laite on mahdollista kytkeä pölynpoisto- tai pölynkeräyslaitteistoon, varmista että kyt-kennät ovat sopivat ja käyttö asianmukaista. Pölynpoistolaitteiden käyttö vähentää pölyyn liitty-vien vaarojen ja haittojen syntymistä.

Laitteen käyttö ja huolto 1. Älä ylikuormita laitetta vaan valitse oikea laite työkohteen mukaan. Laite suoriutuu parhaiten ja

turvallisimmin tehtävästä sille tarkoitetulla nopeudella. 2. Älä käytä laitetta, mikäli sen katkaisija ei toimi. Työkalu, jota ei pystytä hallitsemaan katkaisi-

jan avulla, on vaarallinen ja se on korjautettava välittömästi. 3. Aseta kytkin off-asentoon ja irrota pistoke pistorasiasta ennen säätötoimenpiteiden aloittamista,

varusteiden vaihdon ajaksi sekä kun laite varastoidaan. Näin estät laitteen käynnistymisen va-hingossa.

4. Säilytä käyttämättömänä oleva laite pois lasten ulottuvilta, äläkä anna laitteen käyttöön ja käyt-töohjeisiin perehtymättömän henkilön käyttää laitetta. Laite on erittäin vaarallinen sen käyttöön perehtymättömän henkilön käsissä.

5. Huolla laite kunnolla. Tarkista pyörivien osien oikea linjaus ja esteetön liikkuvuus, osien moit-teeton kunto sekä kaikki muut tekijät mitkä vaikuttavat laitteen toimintaan ja turvallisuuteen. Mikäli huomaat laitteessa vaurioita, korjauta se valtuutetussa huoltoliikkeessä ennen käyttöä. Monien onnettomuuksien syynä on huonosti kunnossapidetty laite.

6. Pidä terät terävinä ja puhtaina, sillä tämä helpottaa niiden hallintaa ja vähentää jumittumisen vaaraa.

7. Käytä laitetta ja sen varusteita näiden käyttöohjeiden mukaisesti ja kyseiselle laitteelle suunni-tellulla tavalla työolosuhteet ja suoritettavan työn luonne huomioiden. Laitteen käyttö muuhun kuin sille suunniteltuun käyttötarkoitukseen on vaarallista ja ehdottomasti kiellettyä.

Laitteen kiinnitys

On suositeltavaa kiinnittää laite työpöytään: 1. Merkitse kiinnitysreikien (2) kohdat työpöytään. 2. Poraa reiät ottaen huomioon kiinnityksessä käytettävien ruuvien koko. 3. Aseta laite työpöydälle ja kiinnitä ruuvein. 4. Kiristä ruuvit huolellisesti. Teräsuojuksen kiinnitys 1. Kiinnitä halkaisuveitsi (6) ruuveilla (9) pöytään (4). 2. Aseta suojus halkaisuveitsen (6) päälle. 3. Kiinnitä suojus (5) halkaisuveitseen. Kiristä ruuvilla

(10). VAROITUS: Älä koskaan käytä laitetta ilman teräsuojusta. Terän kiinnitys

Kuva 3. Käytä ainoastaan terävää ja vahingoittumatonta terää. Vään-tynyt tai muutoin vaurioitunut terä on vaihdettava välittö-mästi. 1. Aseta teräakselille sisempi laippa (11), terä (7) sekä

ulompi laippa (13). Kiinnittäessäsi terää, varmista että sen pyörimissuunta vastaa suojuksessa olevan nuolen osoittamaa suuntaa.

2. Kiristä mutteri (14) huolellisesti. 3. Kiristä kotelon (15) ruuvit (16) huolellisesti. 4. Mikäli haluat irrottaa terän, toista yllä olevat ohjeet

päinvastaisessa järjestyksessä. Kuva 4.

VAROITUS: Irrota laite aina virtalähteestä ennen terän (7) vaihtoa. Älä käytä terää, joka on pak-sumpi kuin halkaisuveitsi. Varmista, että akselin koko vastaa terän keskireiän kokoa. Mikäli akseli on liian ohut, älä käytä lisäkappaletta sovittaaksesi sitä isomalle terälle. Valitse oikean kokoinen terä (ks. Tekniset tiedot). Sivuohjaimen kiinnitys Sivuohjain voidaan sijoittaa terän oikealle tai vasemmalle puolelle. 1. Löysää ruuveja (17) muutaman kierroksen. 2. Liu’uta sivuohjain (8) leikkurin pöydälle (4). 3. Aseta ohjain halutulle etäisyydelle terästä. Voit käyttää

mitta-asteikkoa (18) apunasi. 4. Kiristä ruuvit (17).

6. An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessary. In such case, make sure that the extension cord and plug match the tool cord and plug by type, size, shape and other qualifi-cations and that it is properly wired and in good condition. Do not use extension cord with di-ameter smaller than 2,5 mm2 or length longer than 20 m, otherwise the motor may be damaged. Do Not use multiple extension leads.

Personal safety 1. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating the tool. Do not use

the tool while you are tired, sick or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication. A mo-ment of inattention may result in serious personal injury.

2. Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye and ear protection. Also dust mask, non-skid safety shoes and head protection must be used when necessary.

3. Avoid unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before plugging it in. Do not needlessly hold your finger on the switch, especially when carrying the tool because this could cause dangerous situations.

4. Remove adjusting keys and wrenches before turning on the tool. 5. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables you to better con-

trol the tool in unexpected situations. 6. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery that could get caught up by moving

parts. Long hair should be tied up. 7. If the tool can be connected to a dust extraction or collection facilities, ensure that they are

properly connected and used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards. Use and maintenance 1. Do not force the tool. Choose correct tool according to work to be done. The tool will do the job

better and safer at the rate for which it was intended. 2. Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it on or off. A power tool that cannot be con-

trolled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired immediately. 3. Place the switch to off-position and disconnect the plug from the power source before making

any adjustments, changing accessories or storing the tool. This will prevent the tool from start-ing accidentally.

4. Store idle tool out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the tool or these instructions to operate it. The tool is very dangerous in the hands of an untrained user.

5. Maintain the tool with care. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the machine operation and safety. If you notice any damages in the tool, have it repaired in an authorized service center before use. Many acci-dents are caused by poorly maintained tools.

6. Keep blades sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

7. Use the tool and accessories in accordance with these instructions taking into account the work-ing conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the tool for operations different from those intended is dangerous and strictly forbidden.

Maintenance 1. Only an authorized service center is allowed to service the tool using only original spare parts.

This will ensure that the safety of the tool is maintained.

2. If water is present, have an electrician complete any necessary work or repairs. DO NOT AT-

TEMPT ANY REPAIRS YOURSELF. Mounting the machine

It is recommended that the machine be screwed to a workbench. 1. Mark the position of the mounting holes (2) on the workbench. 2. Drill holes at each of the marked positions, adjusting the diameter and depth of the holes to the

screws used. 3. Place the machine on the workbench and insert the screws into the mounting holes. 4. Firmly tighten the screws. Mounting the guard

1. Fit the riving knife (6) to the table (4) using the screws (9). 2. Place the guard over the riving knife (6). 3. Fit the guard (5) to the riving knife. 4. Tighten the lock knob (10). WARNING: Never cut tiles without having the guard in place.

Only use sharp and undamaged cutting blade. Cracked or bent cutting blade must be replaced immediately. 1. Place the inner flange (11), the cutting blade (7) and the

outer flange (13) on the cutting blade shaft. When fitting the cutting blade (7), make sure that the direction of rota-tion corresponds to the arrow on the guard.

2. Locate the nut (14) and tighten it firmly. 3. Locate the housing (15). Tighten the screws (16). 4. In order to remove the cutting blade (7), proceed in re-

verse order. Figure 4.

WARNING: Before mounting or replacing the cutting blade (7) always unplug the tool. Do not use cutting blade (7) with a thickness exceeding the thickness of the riving knife. Make sure that the spindle diameter corresponds to the bore diameter. Do not use an adapter to mount a cutting blade (7) with a larger bore. Mounting and adjusting the parallel fence

The parallel fence can be mounted both to the left and to the right of the cutting blade. 1. Loosen the knobs (17) a few turns. 2. Slide the parallel fence (8) onto the table (4) as shown. 3. Set the parallel fence (8) to the required distance. The

setting can be read from the scale (18). 4. Tighten the lock knobs (17).
