This is one of the biggest recreation parks in Santiago and covers more than 110 hectares. It contains more than 45 tree species, picnic areas with barbeques and tables, a skat-ing area, childrens games and play area, a cycle track, and a small train, among others.

Situated on a busy shopping avenue in Providencia, this friendly pub is most famous for its entrance: a traditional English phone box. Although it offers British flare, the Phone Box Pub offers a Latino and rustic atmosphere. Paintings by Chilean artists, posters by Dali and Mir and caps of imported beers cover the walls.

It has been in the same spot since 1541, when Pedro de Valdivia made the plans of the city, though it has been destroyed numerous times by earthquakes. In 1745 the present building was modified and built by Joaqun Toesca using baroque and classical styles. Its two towers were com-pleted at the end of the 19th century.

Establecimiento situado sobre una calle transitada de Providencia, este simptico pub es famoso por su entrada: una tradicional ca-seta telefnica inglesa. Aunque ofrece platillos britnicos, el Phone Box Pub presenta un ambiente latino y rstico. Pinturas de artistas chilenos, posters de Dal y Mir, y tapas de botellas de cervezas im-portadas cubren las paredes.

La Catedral de Santiago ha estado en el mismo sitio desde 1541, cuando Pedro de Valdivia confeccion los planos de la ciudad, aunque ha sido destruida en numerosas ocasiones por terremotos. The house of Pablo Neruda was built in the neighborhood of Bellavista in 1953, and they baptized it with the name of the Chascona.This name went in honor to its secret love, Matilde Urrutia, who later became his third wife.
