Developed two prioritized lists of key initiatives – one for Recruitment, one for Retention

Recruitment Initiatives:

1. Campus beautification - significant focus on the look of the campus - also on signage (exterior and interior)

2. Develop Summer Bridge Programs3. Website – Update the Look and Improve Functionality4. High School Advertising

Retention Initiatives:

1. Mandatory Orientation for all New Students

- mandatory advised registration - orientation concentrated on

student success- face-to-face plus a NEW on-line

option2. Early Alert Program3. Campus-wide Retention Focus4. Faculty Development re: Millennial Students

Current Status:

• Subcommittees have fleshed out each initiative• Work teams established to see initiatives

through implementation• Some funding obtained – ie. Perkins Non Trad Funding of $25,000 for High School Advertising

Current Status continued:

•Work teams may be approaching others to join/assist •Will be coming to CLT for funds as required

- minimal marketing funds budgeted; will

require reallocation to implement tactics•Already brainstorming next set of priorities to be worked on once these 8 have been implemented
