Detector Sensitivity Adjust

Ability to program each and every detector’s settings, choosing from nine sensitivity levels.

Nine sensitivity settings. Provides options for controlling sensitivity levels to meet various

environmental conditions. Prevents “false alarms” created by background noise. Can be programmed manually or can alternate automatically

between daytime and night-time settings. Nine distinct pre-alarm levels, based on pre-determined levels

of alarm.

Cooperative Sensing

Exclusively from NOTIFIER Combination of up to three sensors in reaching the

alarm decision. Fire alarm control panel looks at the values from

adjacent devices rather than input from only one device.


Cooperative Sensing

There are three generally accepted fire signatures; heat, smoke and light.

Only NOTIFIER looks at a fourth signature: uniform smoke spread.

Adds “distance” to the equation. Smoke acts like a gas and will evenly disperse. Increased response to uniformly distributed smoke. Sampling over a wider area is more stable. Reject isolated sources of false signals.

The preferred solution: Where the probability of unwarranted alarms is
