Tamaqua Halloween ParadeLCCC Tamaqua students and staff participated in the
annual Tamaqua Halloween parade. The float was created by the Northern Tier Sociology Club art students, Chuck Rodgers and instructors Diana Sweigert and Bobbie Hughes. This year’s theme was Tim Burton movies and characters. The Morgan Center’s Cheryl Fisher dressed as a golden ticket, and Willie Wonka was played by Dean Larissa Verta. LCCC placed third in the float division. This was the seventh year LCCC participated in the well-attended community event and the third time receiving an award for the float.
PTA Club Volunteers at Mission
Students from LCCC’s Physical Therapist Assistant Club volunteered at the Allentown Rescue Mission as part of the Day of Service on Oct. 9. The students had earlier provided massages for staff and faculty as part of Development Day.
