HICAFS (Compressed Air Foam) Suppresion EquipmentSince 1995 HNE Germany has superbly engineered a range of compact mobile fire fighting units designed for optimal rapid response and fast knockdown of a vast range of fires, based on a compressed air foam principle. It is now adopted worldwide setting the standard as best practise. The HNE Units eject water foam solution under very constant high pressure ensuring a maximum expansion of foam. The pressure propels the foam bubbles through the air, providing maximum reach and protection for the operator. This effect is also complimented by the high tech gun and nozzle which provides additional aeration and a precision jet stream ensuring accurate long range knockdown. The HNE Units are the preferred fire fighting tool for defence, emergency services, professional fire fighters, mining companies, offshore oil and gas rigs.

VARIO10Vario 10 Vario 10 can be hand held, slung in a hands free backpack, pulled on a compact trolley or even mounted on motorbikes to ensure rapid access to the fire source. Breathing apparatus can be attached if required. The rotating barrel provides maximum fire fighting versatility with the twist of a wrist - producing a long range penetrating and precise Jetstream or a gentle wide mist spray as the particular situation dictates.

Simply rotate the Vario nozzle by hand from either;1] Long range precision jetstream – clicking into position the long wider gun barrel or2] Wide mist spray curtain setting - by clicking into position the shorter thinner gun barrel.

Foam Switch from wet to dry foam - maximum versatility to produce different foams for different fire applications - all from the one CAF unit, simply turn switch from ‘0’ position for wet foam [B Class Petrochemical fires] to ‘1’ position for dry foam [A Class structural fires].

Vario 50It is vital to access and knock out or contain a fire as soon as possible before it takes hold and spreads, causing possible death and property damage.The Vario 50 is a powerful rapid response “mini fire truck” which comes on a compact trolley or can even be mounted onto any vehicle or marine vessel to ensure rapid access to the fire source. Ideal protection for industry, mining, marinas, vessels, defence, airports and other applications. The high pressure provides up to 16 times expansion or up to 800 litres of foam from 50 litres of solution - capable of knocking out large structural and petrochemical fires. The unit has achieved the highest possible fire rating in Australia/New Zealand for a mobile foam unit-10A/80B- certifications available.

The MFU [Mobile Foam Unit]Powerful rapid response “mini fire truck” which can be mounted onto any vehicle or marine vessel to ensure rapid access to the firesource. Ideal protection for industry, mining, marinas, vessels, defence, airports, forestry and other applications. The compact, 190kg lightweight unit can be configured with a range of water tanks to suit the particular vehicle and situation. The MFU also has a direct hose connection to mains water or dam or sea water. Ideal for simple installation into utility or pickup trucks and vessels - quickly converting these vehicles into powerful foam or water “fire trucks”. Fitted with a diesel engine. The MFU is highly adaptable with a 26 metre high pressure jet stream range, a fog and mist spray nozzle settling, a variable foam dosing rate and adjustment of discharge rates from 80 to 120 litres per minute. It also has an aspirator that can quickly be attached which produces high expansion foam.

Terms of Trading Agreement

The Buyer may accept these Terms in writing or by any conduct. Without limiting this clause’s effect, the Buyer is taken to accept these Terms by conduct if the Buyer: (a) accepts delivery of goods from LFA First Response; or (b) orders goods from LFA First Response (whether in writing, by online order or e-mail, or verbally including by telephone).

All prices for goods published or quoted by LFA First Response are in Australian dollars exclusive of GST, GST Free items are recognised throughout the catalogue with a GST Free icon and are subject to alteration without notice. All brands, types or styles of goods published for sale by LFA First Response are indicative only, and may be replaced by an equal or better product. All published dimensions are nominal only.

LFA First Response will beat by 5% any price lower than the price for any good published in this catalogue if: (a) the Buyer provides a current written quote or invoice displaying the lower price; (b) the quote or invoice is dated no more than six months prior to current date; (c) the goods quoted or invoiced is of the same brand, type and quality as a goods stocked and advertised by LFA First Response; (d) if the Buyer is eligible for free delivery - the quote or invoice includes delivery costs. This offer excludes reseller, clearance or contract pricing. LFA First Response reserves the right not to accept any offer to purchase.

The buyer may nominate their own carrier. Please supply in writing your own carriers name and account number, otherwise the following freight charges will apply:

The Buyer must pay the purchase price for the goods on or before delivery of the goods to the Buyer. The Buyer must discharge any accounts agreed in writing within 30 days from the end of the month of invoice. The Buyer must pay to LFA First Response interest of 3% per month (calculated and accruing daily) on all monies outstanding beyond terms agreed by LFA First Response.

Custom First Aid Kits, Fire Equipment is not returnable. LFA First Response will credit the Buyer for, or replace, goods returned on prior LFA First Response approval if: (a) the Buyer obtains a a return authority number from LFA First Response; (b) the goods are returned in their original condi-tion and packaging, and in full package quantities; within 14 days from purchase (c) a copy of the corresponding tax invoice is supplied with the goods; (d) the Buyer bears all freight charges incurred in returning the goods (unless agreed otherwise). A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returned goods. Any credit granted by LFA First Response to the Buyer will expire and become unredeemable twelve (12) months after the date of the grant.

6 RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS AND CREDITS

LFA First Response may ignore any claim for supply shortages or delivery discrepancies not notified to LFA First Response within seven (7) days of delivery. LFA First Response may ignore any claim for replacement of goods supplied if: (a) LFA First Response is not permitted to inspect the goods on request; (b) the goods were free of faults, defects and damage on supply; or (c) there is reasonable evidence that the goods were damaged after supply by misuse or unreasonable use.

7 CLAIMS

All goods sold or supplied to the Buyer remain the property of LFA First Response until all debts owed by the Buyer to LFA First Response whatsoever are paid in full. The Buyer grants to LFA First Response a charge over the Buyer’s current and future tangible personal property, to secure the performance of the Buyer’s current and future obligations to LFA First Response. LFA First Response reserves all rights and remedies available on the Buyer’s default on these Terms (including, without limitation, the right to seize and dispose of / or retain goods).

8 SECURITY

The Buyer is fully responsible and liable for all of LFA First Response’s goods in the Buyer’s possession, and must maintain those goods in the condition as received. Clauses 3 and 4 apply even if the Buyer goes into bankruptcy, liquidation or receivership, or changes ownership. The Directors of the Buyer (being a company) are personally, jointly and severally liable to LFA First Response for the Buyer’s failure to pay any account by the date due.

(Registration) LFA First Response may refuse to sell or supply goods to the Buyer until the Buyer provides all details and data needed to register a “financing statement” or “financing change statement” under the PPSA with respect to any security interest the subject of these Terms.

9 BUYER’S LIABILITY

The Buyer is liable for any debt collection service fees incurred in respect of any outstanding and overdue debts that the Buyer owes to LFA First Response.

10 DEBT COLLECTION FEES

If a clause or part of a clause in these Terms and Conditions is illegal, unenforceable or invalid, that clause or part is excluded from these Terms and Conditions without affecting the remaining Terms and Conditions.

12 SEVERABILITY

1111.1

PERSONAL PROPERTY SECURITIES ACT 2009 (“PPSA”):

(Application of payments) If the Buyer makes any payment to LFA First Response, LFA First Response may apply the payment to satisfy any obligation of the Buyer to LFA First Response (whether unsecured, secured by security interest, or secured by purchase money security interest). LFA First Response may: (a) apply the payment in any order or manner that it (in its absolute discretion) thinks fit; and (b) amend or re-apply any application made.

11.2

(exclusions) Sections 95, 121(4), 125, 130, 132(3)(d), 132(4), and 135 of the PPSA are excluded and contracted out of to the full extent permitted by section 115 of the PPSA. The Buyer waives the right under PPSA section 157 to receive a notice in relation to registration events which relate to collateral described in the registration as commercial property.
