Integrated—NOT DIY. Unlike other modular instruments that require a great deal of integration

and testing of vendor supplied example software to create a finished application, the LGT1410 is a fully

integrated solution that combines NI PXIe modules, LabVIEW® and TestStand™ runtimes and RADX Real-Time, Touchscreen Optimized, FPGA-accelerated Measurement Science Firmware and Software (MSFS). With the LGT1410, Each LGT MSFS App is designed to interoperate with the others and the LGT MSFS Framework manages hardware concurrency to avoid errors and conflicts. The net result is a highly integrated set of Apps and utilities that enables users to start making measurements and programming their apps right out of the box.

Wideband VSA, Spectrum Analyzer, RTSA and Spectrum Recorder-- in One Package. The LGT1410 employs LibertyGT’s award-winning Real-Time, FPGA-based Software-Defined Synthetic Instrument (SDSI®) architecture that synthesizes multiple, software-defined instruments (Apps) atop a common suite of high-performance, COTS hardware using an optimized Hardware Abstraction Layer. Leveraging common hardware for multiple Apps greatly reduces system Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) and TCO compared to box instrument systems and enables the LGT1410 to support in-the-box upgrades including VSG, DMM, DSO and beyond to provide full Automated Test System (ATS) functionality. Easy to Program-- API and Unified Programming Model Reduces TCO. The LGT1410 employs the LibertyGT MSFS Open Standards-based Application Programming Interface (API) that lets users easily develop, share, and re-use PC-based Test Programs and Test Program Sets (TPS) using LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C, C++, C# or Java. Each and every App and function in the LGT MSFS is accessible from the LGT API. With its Embedded Controller, the LGT1410 eliminates most needs for a standalone Test Executive PC, which greatly simplifies multiple instrument and application test sequencing. And with its SDSI architecture, the LGT1410 provides unique TPS portability, since changes in underlying modules do not affect TPS, which also reduces TCO. The LGT API allows users to locally or remotely (via Ethernet/TCP/IP/VISA) sequence complex measurements and store test results and other data on the system’s SSD, network drive, optional RAID drive(s) directly or via an optional OpenSQL database for further analysis and report generation. For long lifecycle program assurance, LibertyGT MSFS source code escrow and licensing is available for qualified customers.

LGT1410R with NI PXIe-1085 24 GB/Sec Chassis

PXIe Touchscreen Enclosure Options. The LGT1410B features RADX’ patent-pending, LGTE-RF4 PXIe enclosure with 18-slot, 24 GB/Sec backplane and 1080p HD touchscreen mounted on a unique hinged front panel that is optimized for field service, upgrades and tech insertion at the module level. The LGT1410B also supports a configuration specific RTSA Front Panel, front-to-back cooling with filtered air, a modular power supply and fan assemblies for rapid MTTR and an Internal Connector Panel (ICP) that enables convenient routing of signals from the front to the rear of the enclosure.

The LGT1410R employs a standard NI PXIe-1085 24 GB/Sec PXIe Chassis and includes a RADX-supplied 22” 1080p HD touchscreen and accessories. Both models feature the LibertyGT intuitive, touchscreen GUI that minimizes training requirements and make the LGT1410 ideal for R&D, factory test and deployed spectrum analysis applications.

PXIe and SDSI MSFS Modularity Dramatically Reduces TCO.

Module Level Spares and Tech Insertion-- the LGT1410 is a true modular PXI/PXIe system-- which enables a module-level (versus system-level) approach for spares, repairs, calibration and tech insertion (for enhanced capabilities), all of which dramatically reduce support costs. Using tech insertion, LGT1410 users can add internal RAID subsystems, GPS/IRIG-B, 10GigE or MXI Interfaces, upgrade the VSA to support 40 or 50 GHz, add an RF Sig Gen or other instruments when required.

PXIe and SDSI Eliminates Life-Time-Buys-- The LibertyGT SDSI architecture eliminates hardware dependencies in Apps and Test Programs that, in conventional systems, require costly Life-Time-Buys (LTBs) of obsolete COTS components triggered by End-of-Life (EOL) notices. With the LGT1410, users may replace EOL modules with RADX-qualified modules to accrue substantial savings and extend the life cycle of their instrument fleet by transitioning EOL modules to spares.

Minimize Test Program Maintenance Issues-- The LGT1410’s SDSI architecture and performance optimized Hardware Abstraction Layer isolates Test Programs and TPS from underlying hardware, which reduces TPS maintenance costs due to obsolescence issues, a critical support and TCO cost driver in conventional T&M systems.

Module Level and Station Calibration-- With its modular PXIe architecture, LGT1410 users can employ RADX Station Level Calibration and module-level calibration (factory NI or self), to reduce support costs and minimize downtime.
