Divide the disc into six equal sections as shown in the figure below. Colour each section with one of the main colours of the spectrum. Thread a piece of string through the two central holes as shown. Spin the disc by hand until the string coils up tightly. Gently pulling the string will make the disc spin rapidly. Watch the colours merge to produce a rather murky white! A colour mixer you can make easily.
