Group History

Heurtey SA. creates a heater division after acquiring the licence from Petro-Chem Development's licence.

Heurtey SA becomes a holding company controlling a new company : Heurtey Petrochem SA.

Heurtey Petrochem SA is sold to Stein Surface Group.

On M. Michel Pingeot’s initiative, Heurtey Petrochem Engineering SA is created together with Sofresid.

Heurtey Petrochem Engineering historical contract : PETROKEMYA. 10 Millisecond pyrolisis fired heaters are sold to Saudi Arabia.

The Romanian drafting office performs its first designs as a branch office.

Further to the buy-out of the Sofresid Group by Kvaerner, Heurtey Petrochem Engineering becomes Kvaerner Heurtey (France) SA

The Heurtey Petrochem Romania subsidiary is created.

The shares owned by Kvaerner in Kvaerner Heurtey are purchased by the Management, allocated with a capital risk company. Heurtey Petrochem France SA is reviving.

Heurtey Petrochem celebrates its jubilee. In November that same year, Heurtey Petrochem’s capital raises to 2 350 198 €, owned by M. Michel Pingeot and the management (52%), Gemmes Ventures (28%) and the Crédit Lyonnais (20%).

Heurtey Petrochem India is created in Mumbai

The company enters the stock market and increases its share capital up to 10 024 235 € by the end of the year.

On 17th of September 2008 has been inaugurated a yard of 65 000 m² at Sattahip port (Thaïland) where Heurtey Petrochem associated with Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding, will assembly 7 steam cracking furnaces fully modularised (2 300 tons each – 48 meters high) to be shipped at the beginning of 2010 to the ethylene plant of ExxonMobil Chemical at Singapore.
