The Building Department staff will be working from our office daily, so we will continue to accept all Permit Applications through our online permitting software ViewPermit, and all applications may continue to be submitted. ViewPermit allows all user to pay all fees online through the PayPal portal, so payment of fees may be taken care of using this option. If you elect to pay by check then you will be offered the ability to mail a check directly to the Routt County Building Department at 136 6th Street, Suite 201 in Steamboat Springs Colorado 80487. Our staff will continue to communicate by phone and email on a daily basis during normal business hours 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM. Plan reviews are done through our Blue Beam Sessions and through correspondence of plan review letters which email out directly to our applicants and professionals, so business as usual will continue forward.


Building Department will also suspending onsite inspections until further policy update is provided.
