Dear Children, At last the much awaited summer vacation has begun. It is a time for relaxation and

enjoyment. As important as it is to rest & enjoy, it is also important to continue to learn.

Strike a balance between work and play and allow yourself to grow in the process. Let

vacation time be a doorway to creativity, learning, growth and joy.

We have some very interesting Holiday Homework for you this vacation. we are sure

you will enjoy this learning activity.

Relax, enjoy, have lots of fun and come back refreshed.

Guidelines for Parents: 1. Holiday homework should be done under parental guidance and not by the parents. 2. The child should have a fixed time daily for doing assignments. 3. Before colouring, guide him / her to colour in the same direction. 4. ‘Reading book is fun’. Inculcate the habit of reading in your child. 5. Nurture your child’s interest – either in art, music, dance or anything else. 6. Let him/her pursue a hobby of his /her own choice. 7. Please train your child to become independent in his daily chores.

Personal Hygiene:

Encourage your child to take care of personal hygiene by inculcating food

habits

1. Covering his/her nose and mouth when he/she coughs or sneezes.

2. Avoid licking her/his finger ( such as when turning pages in a book)

3. Avoid eating uncovered food.

4. Avoid sharing towel , handkerchief , brush with other people.

5. Trimming his/her hair in every 4-8 weeks.

6. Keeping his/her hair lice-free

7. Avoid touching her/his eyes , nose , mouth , ears with dirty hands.

8. Washing his/her hands always before eating.

School closes from 18th May and reopens on 4th July
