The art of ashigs is an ancient bardic tradition thatbelongs mostly to the old Turkic World (Central Asia,Iran, Turkey, Caucasus and North-West China). Anashig is a poet, composer, singer, musical performerand occasionally dancer, who beats on the strings ofthe saz and improvises serenades and ballads. The tradition of Azerbaijani ashigs dates back to atleast the 14th Century.Mugham is a traditional musi-cal art form from Azerbaijan.The word mugham refers bothto a melodic style and to agenre of traditional music.

CONCESSIONARY TICKETSThese are available to young
