a)Electricity Usage
Energy Consumption measured by electricity meters accounts only for the total consumption inside the house. In this project, Toshiba will install an Energy Box to measure the electric consumption in each feeder.
Toshiba is currently exploring the possibility to link our system with Linky in order to have access to grid information as well.
b)Gas and Water Usage Based on the observation that gas and water meters don’t have a
standard installation location, it was decided that a wireless solution to transmit information is best.
Toshiba is currently looking at a system that will install an add-on
device on meters then transmit information wirelessly to a server.
