Project: King Abdullah Project “KAP 1” (Amount around: 8 Billion Saudi Riyals)Position Held: Senior Electrical Engineer Main Responsibility: Acting as the Electrical Section Head for 8 sites in different locations out of the 305 site.Project’s Owner: Saudi Ministry of Interior.Project Description: The project comprises of 305 sites, distributed in different location, areas and regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an approximiated total build up area: 1,349,405 m2.

Main responsibilities:- Responsible for following up subcontractors to ensure the work conformance to design and

projects’ specifications and ensuring that productivity within the planned.- Responsible for the material’s quantity surveying & preparing materials’ requests.- Ensuring that selection of approved material and ensuring the delivery as per the planned dates.

- Following up the delivery of materials with supplier/procurement team.- Responsible for monitoring/ controlling the cost of all electrical activities within the planed

Job Description: Phase1:- Installation of a distributer medium voltage switchgear (16 cubicles, batteries, rectifier & AC/DC control system), 16 transformer buildings including (Ring main units air Type, dry transformers, Main Low Voltage distribution boards, lighting and power), duct banks, road crossings, telecommunication conduits’ network of length130 km, medium voltage network (22 /0.4 KV) of length of 53 km, low voltage network 51 km and street lighting network.

Managerial responsibilities:- Conduct technical / progress meetings with Emaar (Owner), project’s management,

supervision, cost & design consultants & OCI management to ensure that the project’s progress will be achieved within the target dates and take any necessary actions in this regards.

- Represent OCI for all electrical activities to decide whatever actions required.

- Interfacing between OCI and EDC (electrical distribution company) for materials’ factory tests, drawing and materials approvals, site works acceptance, testing, commissioning and startup until handing over the project.
