My magazine as it will catch the audiences attention due to famous celebs being included

EVOQUE – TITLE

• I had gathered many names together for my magazine such as flame, D+, title but Evoque is the one I found suitable. I feel that the name Evoque links itself with music as I too wanted a name that sounds it s related to music base. Evoque is not only catchy but it is also memorable

EVOQUE - CONTENTS

• I plan to use hip hop and RnB artsists as this will attract the target audience and it will combine well to get artists from this genre as my magazine will be based on hip hop and RnB.

• My contents will include interviews with artists, reviews of the latest hip-hop and RnB albums and new emerging artists.

• I order for my magazine to have a USP I plan to include column which shows what songs are currently on top of the RnB chart.

Layout of my magazine

My double page spread will have a similar layout to this Vibe magazine. I Have decided that the picture will be on the left and the writing on the left . The colour scheme such as the colour of the font as well as the page is still yet to be decided.

The content page will also be similar to my magazine contents the layout and positioning will be similar as well as the composition of the letters.

My magazine will have the same layout as this Vibe magazine.The layout seems well organised as well as the cover looks complete.

The cover has been created for a specific purpose the colours chosen have been picked for a reason this all leads to the viewers attention being caught. The colours portray an excitement and brings and engaging atmosphere.

Cover picture is placed In front of masthead to show its importance to magazine cover. There fore using the same style I will use this technique to design my magazine.

My main character will be a medium close up shot as the one in this magazine it is a common shot mainly used in all magazine front covers.

The colour scheme I will be using will be mainly dark

• Types of R&B artists as well as their nationality will be included in my magazine. It will also include events and styles so that readers can catch up on t he latest on goings and be updated on whats new. My target audience will start from 18+ this is because looking at research younger adults are mainly interested in finding out whats new in R&B, it will be for both men and women. It will also allow them to find out the different styles of latest music as well as social events they can catch up on. It will also be targeted at people who are interested in different style of music and who are up to date with their events

• My magazine will be published by IPC media as it is the Uks leading publisher company. Looking at my research it engages with 26 million uk adults- almost two thirds of the uk women and over 40% of uk men which will help and enhance my magazine to gain readers.

• The price of my magazine will be based around £3.99-£4.59

EVOQUE

• Evoque is strong bold name, and to be on a magazine front cover it is ideal for the font as well as its appearance to be ideal. I have decided to create a few fonts that are appealing and which I think will be suitable for the magazine

I have decided to go with this eroded font as I think its appealing and does match too with the name evoque.
