1.) Eligibility CriteriaAdmission to the first semester of MBA Programme will be open to candidates who have passed Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in any discipline from this University or equivalent thereto and approved by the UGC/AIU or any regulatory Body constituted/established by the Act of Parliament/Central Government/State Government or have passed the final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or equivalent or Institute of Company Secretaries of India or equivalent or Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or equivalent.

For Lateral Entry AdmissionStudents with the following qualifications shall be admitted directly in the 3rd semester (2nd year) under the lateral entry scheme and they are exempted from appearing for the 1st year examinations. All such students admitted shall be governed by the clause(s) applicable for the students admitted to 2-Year MBA (Distance Education) Programme. Such students shall be awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration (Lateral Entry) of the M.D. University after completion of the fourth semester. The students admitted under the Lateral Entry scheme shall have to clear all the papers within a period of two years from the date of his/her admission to the third semester.

1. The candidates having 2-year Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management/Post-graduate Diploma in Business Administration and desirous of obtaining MBA Degree.

2. The candidates who have passed the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management or Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBM/PGDBA) course, of two years duration, duly approved by the AICTE, from any Institute included by the AICTE in the list of its approved Institutes shall be allowed admission in the third semester directly.

3. The candidates having a Master Degree in Hotel Management or Tourism Management or Commerce degree from this University or any other University/Institute recognised or approved by the UGC/AIU or any other regulatory

body established by the Act of Parliament/Central Govt./State Govt. from time to time.

4. The Students who are pursuing 2-year MBA programme in any affiliated Institute/College as regular student and unable to continue as such on account of employment or any justified reason shall be allowed admission in 3rd semester(second year) of this online MBA programme.

The student can take admission to the online programmes and subsequently appear for examination as per the following schedule:-

The candidates can register themselves for admission through Online Portal only. For any help, they can approach to the nearest Online Touch Point.

The online admissions shall be executed as per the Regulations approved by the University

1. All candidates will be required to complete the degree programme within the maximum

period of years.

2. The student can take admission to the online programmes and subsequently appear for examination as per the following schedule:-Admission Cycle Examination MonthJanuary to March -- JulyApril to June -- OctoberJuly to September -- JanuaryOctober to December -- April3. If any student is unable to take the examination as per schedule announced by the University, they can take the examination for the required subjectsON-DEMAND, i.e., they can apply for examination on any date of their choice at the designated examination centre and the necessary information can also be obtained from the Touch Point.

4. The aggregate marks for each paper shall be 100 consisting of 30 marks for Assignment and 70 marks for the Online Examination. 5. The minimum pass marks for passing any semester/annual examination shall be 35% jointly in theory (online examination), Assignment, Practical/workshop/Viva-Voce/Training Report/Project Report etc. examinations (wherever applicable).6. The medium of instruction and the examination shall be English only.

7. A candidate shall have to pass all the four semester examinations within the maximum period of 5 years from the time of admission to the first semester of 2-Year MBA programme.

8. Students need not pay examination fee if the examinations are taken as per the schedule announced by the University.9. Students taking examinations on-demand shall have to pay an amount of Rs.400/- per subject per attempt as examination fee and this ON-DEMAND examination fee should be paid along with application for the on-demand examination.10. The evaluation of project reports and the conduct of practical examinations wherever applicable, shall be done by an examiner from the concerned subject. Such examinations will be conducted at the approved Touch Point. 11. The practical examination(s) of the courses (relating to IT/Computers or wherever specified) shall be conducted by the external examiners to be appointed by the University.

12. The successful candidates after the completion of the final semester/year examination of the concerned programme shall be placed in three divisions on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in the Degree.

Those who obtained 60% or more marks - First Division Those who obtain 50% or more marks but less than 60% marks - Second Division Those who obtain 35% marks or more but less than 50% marks - Third Division

Candidates who pass all the semester/annual examinations of the concerned programme in the first attempt obtaining 75% or more marks of the total aggregate shall be declared to have passed the relevant programme with Distinction.

13. The university reserves the right to change the course curriculum and the ordinance whenever it will be felt that the change/modification could best serve the interest of the
