The City and County of Honolulu Mayor’s Office of Culture and the Arts is requesting proposals from organizations for grant funds in the following categories: Production Grant Level I, for new artistic projects up

to $10,000; Production Grant Level II, for continuing projects up to $10,000; Operating Grant, for organizational support up to $5,000; Event Coordination, for one of two specified City events (Mango Jam Honolulu, Kapolei City Lights) up to $10,000. Organizations may apply for both Productions Grants and the Operating Grant as

applicable, but only one of those grants will be awarded to the organization. The Event Coordination Grant may be awarded concurrently with any other MOCA grant. Grants will be awarded to organizations located within

the City and County of Honolulu for projects benefiting Oahu residents. Grant support is intended to provide partial funding for a project. To be eligible for the grant, applicants must be a tax-exempt, publicly supported and

charitable organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service.

Application deadline for Production and Operating Grants is December 2, 2016 at 4:00 pm. Application deadline for Event Coordination Grants is February 3, 2017 at 4:00 pm. Proposals must be submitted to the

Division of Purchasing at 530 South King Street, Room 115.
