Molelectronics is abbreviations for MOLECULAR ELECTRONICS. It is branch of electronics in which individual molecules perform in same function as microelectronics devise such as diode.

HISTORYIn 1940 Robert Muliken and Albert Szent-Gyorgy advances the concept of

charge transfer using molecule.

In 1974 paper from Ari Aviram and Mark Ratner illustrate a theoritcal molecular rectifier.

further concept were propose by the Forrest carter which include single molecule logic gate in same year.
