Yes. We are in a recession. Charities are hurting. We live in a connected world. My presentation doesn’t have a point. Because.

It’s pointless to try to use language to describe what is happening in the world. Egypt, Haiti or the Stock Markets. Everyone has their own opinion. Everyone is on their own TRIP.

The only things we can agree on are new words and symbols: WTF, LOL, ;-) etc.

Let’s NOT forget many people in the world don’t have basic needs and are suffering much more than us and they are desperate.

Recession + desperation = More Aid!

“Namaste” - The Great Perfection is the vast part of ourselves that is truly one with the universe,

one with all others; one with all there is. This is true regardless of national origin, culture, race, age, political affiliation, religious or spiritual affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, physical looks, physical condition or whatever.

Other translations: 'The God in me greets the God in you

The Spirit in me meets the same Spirit in you'

“I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Truth, of Light, and of Peace. When you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, We are One. “

It recognizes the equality of all, and pays honor to the sacredness of all. respect, acceptance, openness and love.

Traditionally Namaste is said while bringing together both palms of the hands before the heart in prayer position, and lightly bowing the head and shoulders. Herewith you surrender your ego, show that your hands are unarmed, and that you come in peace. The hands folded in prayer position also symbolize celebration and honor. The left and right hand brought together depict Union and centeredness.

In Namaste you pay honor to the sacredness of all. In this holiness you become still for a moment. While meeting the other one on the level of the heart and soul, the separation between you and me crumbles into pieces; no longer is there another one – there is only One.

Namaste

“Namaste” –

Translated into a bodily act, namaste is deeply rich in symbolism. Firstly the proper performance of namaste requires that we blend the five fingers of the left hand exactly with the fingers of the right hand. The significance behind this simple act in fact governs the entire gamut of our active life. The five fingers of the left hand represent the five senses of karma, and those of the right hand the five organs of knowledge. Hence it signifies that our karma or action must be in harmony, and governed by rightful knowledge, prompting us to think and act correctly.

By combining the five fingers of each hand, a total of ten is achieved. The number ten is a symbol of perfection, and the mystical number of completion and unity. It is true for all ancient traditions. Ten is the number of the Commandments revealed to Moses by God. In the Pythagorean system, ten was a symbol of the whole of creation. Ancient Chinese thought too thought of ten as the perfectly balanced number.

Ying Yang

“Yin Yang” –

Everything in nature and all events in life have a relationship to each other which involves opposing factors. These natural things and events are also in a continual state of change as they are subject to the ebb and flow of cosmic forces. The ideal state in nature and therefore in health is when these opposing forces are in relative balance. The Chinese do not believe in absolutes or in the ideal, rather that everything is relative, flexible and changeable. The interplay of Yin and Yang brings about every change and every movement in the universe.

The light color area which indicates more sunlight is called Yang (Sun). The dark color area has less sunlight (more moonlight) and is called Yin (Moon). Yang is like man. Yin is like woman. Yang wouldn't grow without Yin. Yin couldn't give birth without Yang. Yin is born (begins) at Summer Solstice and Yang is born (begins) at Winter Solstice.

MGMT – Time to Pretend

I'm feeling rough, I'm feeling raw, I'm in the prime of my life. Let's make some music, make some money, find some models for wives. I'll move to Paris, shoot some heroin, and fuck with the stars. You man the island and the cocaine and the elegant cars.
