Brilliant Belts!

Stick a few ribbons to both ends of the piece of fabric.

You will need:

A strip of fabric

approx 75cm long

by 10cm wide

Fabric glue

Scissors

Stick-on gems

Ribbons

Put glue onto the outer edges of the fabric and fold it over so the ribbons are sandwiched between the fabric, as shown.

Decorate with sequins and gems. Now your belt is ready to wear!

You could make aneven simpler belt by

plaiting ribbons together!

These special cakes are the perfect treats for you and your friends.

Butterf ly CakesMagical Make-it

Put your fairy cake to one side.

Mix together the butter and

icing sugar with a spoon, until the butter

cream mixture turns a light yellow colour.

Then, cut off the top half of the fairy cake.

Cut the top of the fairy cake in half.

Place a spoonful of butter cream onto

the bottom half of the fairy cake. Now,

place the two cut sections onto the

butter cream at an angle, so they look like

butterfly wings.

Add sweets in between the wings

to give your butterfly a body. Now you

can share your butterfly’s with

your friends!

Glue the pictures to your

plant pot.

Plant some seeds such as

sunflower or daisy.

Water your seeds and watch them grow into pretty plants and flowers.

Make a creature home

You can make a little home in your garden for snails, woodlice,

worms, beetles, centipedes, spiders and more! Turn a plant pot on its side

and fill it with cardboard tubes or straws, twigs and pine cones. Leave the pot in a sunny spot, near a tree if you can. Keep an eye on the pot and look out for some

garden creatures!

First, paint your cardboard

tube with pretty pink paint.

Then, put some sheets of tissue paper

together and fold them in half. Cut the paper into strands. Repeat this until you have four

sets of paper strands.

Starting from half way up the tube,

wrap the strands around it until you have a tree

shape, then glue or tape them in place. 14
