Meadowhall, which is located on the outskirts of Sheffield, is Yorkshire’s premier shopping destination and one of only six out-of-town super regional shopping centres in the UK.

Attracting 25 million shoppers every year, it provides 1.4 million sq ft of high quality retail and leisure space to a diverse range of international, national and local brands including Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, House of Fraser, Apple, Hollister, Primark, Next, Topshop, Reiss, Victoria’s Secret, Wagamama, Carluccio’s and Vue Cinemas.

Meadowhall needed a way to communicate with over 8,000 staff and integrate the multiple tenant portals that were in place including sales collection, staff car parking and the existing extranet system.

New West End Company is a leading business voice for London’s West End, representing the people and organisations behind the world’s largest retail destination. It delivers management and marketing services to 25 streets within London’s retail heartland including Bond Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street.

With over 600 businesses and 100,000 workers in the area, the New West End Company wanted to launch an app to boost connection with services including clean teams, welcome ambassadors, security services and shop floor employees.

A “white-labelled” version of the Mallcomm platform provided all the benefits of Mallcomm in their own style.
