In April of this year Cliff Nash announced a realignment of the upper management of Nash Inc. and he assumed the
title of CEO. Cliff has been in the company since 1974 and has served in every position from helper to plumber to
President. Under his leadership Nash Inc. has grown from a one (1) truck operation to an industry leader in the plumb-
ing and mechanical business. David J. Mears was promoted to the position of Company President. Dave has been
with the company since 1994 and is responsible for the day to day operation of all the field. Dave also served as Pro-
ject Manager on projects with contract costs exceeding $42,000,000. Monte Wilson was promoted to Vice President of
Business Services in 2011 and had previously served as Office Manager. Congratulations to all three of you. You
have all done an outstanding job for Nash Inc.

Subcontractor of the Year Award
On April 8, 2011 Jonathan Brokaw attended an Awards Luncheon hosted by Ajax
Building Corporation. This luncheon was Ajax Building Corporation’s way of
thanking its subcontractors who have helped make Ajax successful over the past
twelve to eighteen months. During this luncheon, on behalf of Nash Inc., Jona‐
than Brokaw received Ajax Building Corporation’s 2010 Subcontractor of the
Year Award. Nash Inc. was presented with this award for its performance on the
Shands Psych Unit Renovation and the UF‐353 Center for Movement Disorders.
When asked about receiving such an award, Jonathan stated “A big part of being
in a position to receive such an honor is our performance in the field. Roger
Freeman and his crew have worked exceptionally well with Ajax, the design
teams and the owners. Roger and his crew consistently deliver high quality
workmanship”. Jonathan went on to say that “Builders play such a big part in
whether or not a project is successful for the subcontractors. Ajax actually
works with the subcontractors, as long as the subcontractor is performing to the
best of its ability. Too few builders today take the time to remember and re‐
ward the subcontractors who help make these projects a success. We look for‐
ward to more opportunities with Ajax.” Thank you to everyone at Nash Inc.
who have played a role in the performance and completion of projects with Ajax

Bob was selected as Foreman of the Quarter because of his
hard work and his vast knowledge of HVAC units. Bob is an
expert when it comes to trouble shooting anything to do with
A/C units. He has logged many miles in several states since
joining the Nash team in 2006. He has worked on several
projects in Georgia and South Carolina. All Nash project
managers agree that Bob is one of the best out there and we
are very glad to have him.
Congratulations, Bob
Thanks for all your support!
One of our Own, Dave Worrell Sr. . .
WOW, were we pleasantly surprised
when Dave walked into our office. He
has slimmed down so we hardly recog‐
nized him. Dave is recovering from a
recent illness. Keep working on getting
back to 100%, Dave. Although we were
glad to see him, please don’t over do it.
Welcome back, Dave
Special Project Division Changes Leadership
Dave Worrell Jr Takes Charge
Dave Worrell Jr. has taken over our recently formed Special Projects Division. JR has been in
the plumbing and mechanical trades for over twenty (20) years. He was previously in charge of all field personnel in the Central Flor-ida area. His extensive experience in the mechanical area has served the com-pany well as he has certified many of the welders on his jobs. Currently, is out soliciting business from owners on a daily basis while this new division is getting off the ground. Good luck, JR.
Nash Inc. Trivia Question:
From time to time we like to see how much you know about your employer. Nash Inc. is a large company that buys a tremendous amount of material so its time
to put on your thinking cap and see if you can guess our Trivia Question. The person with the closest guess to the correct answer will win you a prize
sooooo….please call Betty in the office with your answer to the following question.
“How many 2” Clevis Hangers were purchased by Nash in 2010”?
Thanks for all your hard work, sacrifice and excellent effort
April: Chris Sullivan, currently working at Ft. Jackson. Chris works everyday, is on time and always has a great attitude. Chris will do what-ever is asked of him. Thanks, Chris, for all you do!!

Good job, Dwayne!

done. Way to Go, Tim!!

Shout Outs from the Field………
Fred Kramer, Foreman at Ft Stewart, would like to com-
mend Ryan Dougherty for his good work. Ryan is not
afraid to ask questions so he can get it right the first time. He steps up to the
plate when needed. Dwayne Gibbs for being a dedicated employee who
stays on top of things and does what is asked of him. Tim Noell for being
reliable and working hard to get the job done. Good job, guys!
George Nash, Project Manager at Ft. Benning, would like to recognize Bob
Kapalo for always helping out. We appreciate all the things you do, Bob. “He
has been a great help with solving any issues we have not only when he is
here on site but even good talking to him on the phone and solving issues that
way”. For those of you who don’t know Bob, he is our Mechanical Service
Man. Keep up the good work, Bob. Way to go!
Ryan Nash, Project Manager at Fort Jackson, would like to thank Chris Sulli-
van for his outstanding efforts on the job. Chris is at work everyday with a
great attitude and always on time. “We can always count on Chris to complete
whatever task is needed no matter how tall the order is. Way to go, Chris.
Ryan also wanted to thank Robert Koontz, also known as “Red”, for stepping
up to the plate and helping to get Fort Jackson to the close-out stage. Craig
Glass and his crew consisting of Jake Boykin and Raymond Davis have
done it again this time at Fort Jackson. The mechanical rooms are never big
enough. Its like trying to put 10 lbs of potatoes in a 5 lb bag. This job was a
job for the “A Team” and once again you guys didn’t let us down. Way to go, Guys!!
Monte Wilson, Vice President, wants to thank two areas for their hard work
this quarter. The estimators have put in a lot of hours trying to get work in this
challenging economy. John Gallico, Mike Paxton and David Asendorf come
in early every morning and even work some nights and weekends. Also, Dave
Worrell Jr. (JR) has taken over the Special Projects Department and had
done a great job getting this department off the ground.
Thanks to each of you who have worked so hard for Nash Inc.

SAFETY
MID-YEAR UPDATE
Safety is the life blood of any construction company. If your Experience MOD Rate (EMR) is too high a General Con-tractor might not take your price on bid day. If your EMR is high you will be forced to pay a much higher premium for coverage which has a negative effect on profitability. If your EMR is too high you can’t get coverage and without insurance coverage you get NO work.
So with that being said, how are you doing so far in 2011 compared to the previous years?

2011 (Thru 6/1/11)
As you can see, our injuries have come down substantially over
the past three and a half years. The apparent reasons are :
1) Nash Inc. is doing more mechanical work which is less la-
bor intensive.
2) Nash Inc. Foremen have done a better job recognizing and
correcting unsafe conditions.
3) Safety Director, Max King
4) Our employees have done a great job working safely.
If you finish this year with few injuries, we will pass out Safety
bonuses
Keep up the Great work!

Nash Inc.
A DRUG FREE WORKPLACE FOR GOOD REASON. . . . . . .
Years ago Nash Inc. Management made the decision to make the company a “Drug Free Workplace”. To be classi-
fied as a Drug Free Workplace company some very strict rules had to be initiated and abided by. These rules in-
cluded that any failed test meant you would not be hired. If you failed a drug test while you were employed by
Nash Inc. you were automatically terminated. Deciding to make this company a Drug Free Workplace was defi-
nitely the right choice especially when you look at what drug and alcohol abuse causes.
Substance Abusers are:
2.5 times more likely to have absences of 8 days or more
2.2 times more likely to request time off
3 times more likely to be late for work
5 times more likely to file a Workers Comp claim
Up to 33% less productive
10 times more likely to miss work
3.5 times more likely to be involved in a workplace accident
When you look at these facts as published by the American Council for Drug Education and the American Insti-
tute of Drug Abuse one can see how this can affect a business in many ways. An impaired employee is less pro-
ductive making others pick up the slack, quality suffers, turnover increases and the reputation of our company is
put at risk.
A Fort Benning Thank You…..
On April 28th Nash Inc.’s mobile BBQ Wagon showed up at Ft. Benning to cook for all our employees working on the base. Our employees on the base are doing a great job and working very hard to work safe. The entire Ft. Benning crew has not had a recordable injury since December 2009. That is definitely worth a “big thank you”. World famous chef, Art Freeman, brought his magic to the grill by cooking up the best ribs and chicken in the south. Af-ter lunch George Nash, Project Manager, passed out shirts, hats and prizes to thank everyone for their hard work and for going the extra mile to stay safe.
THANK YOU!!
