Myanmar Salary Guideline

38

Welcome to our first ever Myanmar salary guideline. To welcome AEC and to attract foreign investors into Myanmar, Manpower has been working hard in understanding our clients and supporting their needs in Yangon and nationwide throughout Myanmar in the past few years. Due to its abundant natural resources, a strategic location as well as a large and young population, and now the changes in the economic pattern, Myanmar has a unique opportunity to lay the foundation for a brighter and more prosperous future in South East Asia.

Looking back at 4 years ago, we have been faced with difficulties when it came to recruitment and providing salary information to candidates as there was no such information available in the market. Until now, there is no accessible data in Myanmar on salary guidelines. Therefore, through our many years of experience and expertise in Myanmar’s labour market, Manpower has come up with a salary guideline for our clients to have an easy understanding when setting up a budget on hiring needs.

In this salary guideline, we have provided information for mainstream positions that are usually recruited by foreign companies operating in Myanmar.
