July20th:Earlystart fromCuscoover theEasternrangeof theAndesviaPisac,withsomebirdingstopsalongthewaybeforearrivingtoPaucartambo,andthen lunchatAcjanaco(thePass)3560meters.Intheafternoonafterlunchwebirdedslowlydowntoward theWayqechaBiologicalStation (2900meters).NightatWayqechaResearchStation.

July 21st: Full day birding near theWayqecha Research Station. Early breakfast andafter that we went up the road and in the afternoon we birded down the road toPillahuataarea.NightatWayqechaReserchStation.

July22nd:WayqechatoCockoftheRockLodge,birdingourwaydownuntilabovetheRocotal “pepper farm” 2200mts. Late afternoon arrival to Cock of the Rock Lodge.NightatCORL(1400mts)

July 23rd: After an early breakfast we birded down the road to 1000-meter bridge(Quitacalzón),andwespenttheafternoonbirdingaroundthelodgeandthemainroadnotfarfromthelodge.

July24th:FulldayatCockoftheRockLodge.Earlyinthemorningbeforebreakfastwewent to the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock Lek, thenwe had breakfast at the lodge andbirdedthetrailsandgarden,intheafternoonwewentuptoElMirador(1730m).

July25th: FulldayatCockof theRock Lodge.Wewentup toElMiradorand in theafternoonwebirdedbelowthelodge.

July 26th: Cock of the Rock Lodge toAmazonia Lodge birding all theway down theroad to Quitacalzón, “Chontachaca” the first village after reaching the lowlandssurroundedby agricultural areas andpastures.Wehad lunch at Pillcopata and thenfurtheronmorebirdingbeforeaquickstopatthelookoutaboveAtalayacommunityfromwherewetookourboattoacrosstoAmazoniaLodge.NightspentatAmazoniaLodge.

July27th: Full dayatAmazonia Lodge. EarlyBreakfast andafterwehikedup to thecanopy towerand in theafternoonwebirded trails.Night spentatAmazonia Lodge(480m).

July28th:FulldayatAmazoniaLodge.EarlyBreakfastandthenwebirdedthetrailthattookustoasmalloxbowlake.Intheafternoonwebirdedalongabambootrail.NightAmazonialodge(480m).

July 29th: Amazonia Lodge to Csco city. After breakfast we birded the garden andsurroundings, then we took our boat transport to Atalaya port, we passed throughPillcopata, Chontachaca, San Pedro, Pillahuata,we had lunch atAcjanacoPass, thenheadedtoPaucartamboandfinallybacktoCusco.
