CONTROLLER KEYPAD

For spas with a circulation pump:

• ThecontroloftheBluFusionTopSideisidenticaltotheBluFusion1controller.Theuserinterfaceisasfollows:• Toactivatethetopsidecontrol,anyofthepushbuttonkeysmustbehelddownfortheentireKeyLockoutdeactivationsequencewhichtakesseveralseconds.

• IftheKeyLockouthasbeenactivatedandanypushbuttonkeyispressed,thethreedigitSevenSegmentDisplaywilldisplay“Loc”.• Afteronesecond,thethreedigitSevenSegmentDisplaywilldisplaya“3”inthecenterdigit.• ThepushbuttonkeymustbehelddownuntilthethreedigitSevenSegmentDisplaydecreasesto“1”andthepowersettingisdisplayed,thenbromineoutputorboostcanbeadjusted.

• Thedisplayedcountwillbedisplayedasquicklyasin0.75secondintervals.Ifthedepressedpushbuttonkeyisnotreleasedwithinfivesecondsafterthepowersettingisdisplayed,theKeyLockoutwillbereactivatedpreventinganaccidentalin-creaseordecreaseinbromineproduction(thisisaprecautionary–safetyfeatureoftheBluFusionTSSystem).

• Afterthepowersettingisdisplayed,thepushbuttonkeysareactivatedandpowersettingisenabled(normalerrorcodedisplayisalsoresumed).IfanykeyremainsdepressedforfivesecondsduringthedeactivatedKeyLockoutperiod,theKeyLockoutwillreactivateanddisablecontrolfeatures.

• TheKeyLockoutwillreactivatein20secondsafterthelastoperationalreleaseofapushbuttonkey.ThethreedigitSevenSegmentDisplaywilldisplay“Loc”for0.5secondswhenKeyLockoutisreactivated.

• UponreactivationoftheKeyLockout,theTopsideControlSevenSegmentDisplaywilldisplaythepowersettingalongwithanyactiveerrorcodesorpowersettingLEDdisplays.IftheElectrodeCurrentdisplayfeatureisenabled,theKeyLockoutwillnotreactivate.

Easy Start Up Directions

NOTE: Anytime you add a chemical, turn the jets on to help dissolve it appropriately.

• Afterthepowersettingisdisplayed,thepushbuttonkeysareactivatedandpowersettingisenabled(normalerrorcodedisplayisalsoresumed).IfanykeyremainsdepressedforfivesecondsduringthedeactivatedKeyLockoutperiod,theKeyLockoutwillreactivateanddisablecontrolfeatures.

• TheKeyLockoutwillreactivatein20secondsafterthelastoperationalreleaseofapushbuttonkey.ThethreedigitSevenSegmentDisplaywilldisplay“Loc”for0.5secondswhenKeyLockoutisreactivated.

• UponreactivationoftheKeyLockout,theTopsideControlSevenSegmentDisplaywilldisplaythepowersettingalongwithanyactiveerrorcodesorpowersettingLEDdisplays.IftheElectrodeCurrentdisplayfeatureisenabled,theKeyLockoutwillnotreactivate.

ItmaytakeafewhoursuptoadaytoreachthedesiredlevelofBromine(sanitizer).ThecorrectlevelofBrominewiththeGenesisSystemshouldbebetween0-1onthegenericbromineteststrip.Thestripsthattestfortheactivebromine(sanitizer)levelaredesignedforgenericbrominesystems.SpecificallyforGenesis,ifthebrominelevelreads2ormore (which readsokon the test strip) then there is actually toomuchpurebromineinyourspa.FortheGenesissystemthatproducesamore“pure”sani-tizer(withoutany“fillers”orextrachemicals),the“OK”rangeforthebrominewillreadbetween0-1(lightgreen)onacommonbromineteststrip.

Between0-1ontheteststripiswhereyouwantyourBromine(sanitizer)leveltore-main.Forcontinuedwatercare,adjusttheGenesiscontroldialasneededtoremaininthe“true”okrange(0-1)and“balance”yourwaterregularly.Continuetotestthewateratleastonceweeklytomonitorthewaterquality.Ifyoudonotuseyourspaforanextendedperiodoftime,settheGenesiscontroldialbackdowntoasettingof#3or#2(dependingonthesizeofyourspa)tohavethespacontinuesanitizingwhenyouarenothome.Forhigherspausage,occasionalshockingmayberequired.Anytimeshockisused,thelidmustremainopenandpeopleshouldwaittousethespafor1hour.

*A:Periodically(everyfewmonths)checktheSodiumBromide(sanitizer)levelbyusingtheGenesis(orequivalent)teststrip.The readingonthetestshouldbe1200-1800partspermillion.Ifthesaltlevelistoohigh,inthewindowoftheGenesiscontrolpanel willflashandthesystemwillnotoperateproperly.Ifthesaltlevelistoolowitwillnotbeabletoproducebromineproperly.Keep-ing the sodium bromide in the correct level will ensure the Genesis system has the proper level to operate at its optimumefficiency.

Suggestions:Youmaywishtouseahighqualitynaturalenzymeclarifier(SeaKlearorGLBisrecommended)orasimilarproducttohelpkeepthefilterscleanandassist incontrollingwater linebuildup. Ifyouhaveapumpthatfilterstwiceaday,orhaveanyfurtherquestions,pleasecontactyoursalespersonforfurtherinstructions.
