CLUBCLUB Message from our President
Greetings Dancers!
I want to say thank you to all the members who have renewed their
club membership for 2020. It’s going to be another great year of
dancing!
We celebrated Valentine’s Day at RollHaven on February 12th.
There were 93 members and guests in attendance. Thanks everyone
for the delicious snacks and Henry for the great music.
St. Patrick’s Day is coming up soon. We will celebrate it on March
11th at RollHaven. Don’t forget to wear something Irish.
I know I have said this before but it seems I need to say it again.
Please be quiet on the sidelines and be respectful of our instructors
and your fellow dancers during the lesson! People who are taking the
lesson need to be able to hear the instructor so they can focus on
learning what’s being taught. Also, if you want to talk after a song is
over, please leave the dance floor to do so.
March’s dance lesson is Night Club 2 Step taught by Joann Podleski.

The basics of dance etiquette are in place to make sure that everyone can enjoy an evening of social dancing. Swing dance is a great way to bring together people from all walks of life into the same activity. It’s important to use basic manners, good dance technique and a little bit of social dance etiquette to ensure that everyone has a good time. Try to be an example for people in your community. Doing so will go a long way in creating a great welcoming culture. If we all try hard to use these seven (7), rules it will go a long way towards positively influencing the new dancers as they join us on the dance floor ensuring that we have lots of people to dance with for years to come! westcoastswingonline.com
