    A Message from the President

A Commitment to QualityWeve heard rom many o our members in the past couple o weeks about how much they enjoyed the venue

and ormat o this years Annual Dinner. It certainly seems as i the move to the Wharton Center was a huge

success in the eyes o Chamber members.

I think it is also important to note that the reason we modied the ormat o the Annual Dinner this year

was because o eedback we have received rom attendees o previous events. A survey ollowing last years

Annual Dinner showed that the great majority o our members eel that networking opportunities are the most

important eature o the Annual Dinner. The strolling dinner ormat at this years event not only provided thetime or relationship building, but did so against the elegant backdrop o the beautiul campus o Michigan State

    University.

The change in venue and ormat o the Annual Dinner is part o the Chambers overall event strategy or

2010. We are proud o the high quality networking events and educational programs that we consistently deliver

to our members. However, as we evaluated our total program and sta resources, the Chamber team determined

that we would best serve our members this year by ocusing on the highest quality experience at our events while

slightly reducing the number o activities during the year.

The lineup o Chamber programs or 2010 is impressive, including our best-ever lineup o speakers at

Economic Club, the annual Legislative Dinner in March, the always popular Lansing Open Gol Tournament and

the 5th Annual Celebration o Regional Growth, just to name a ew.

I welcome your eedback on any and all o our programs and events in 2010. The Lansing Regional Chamber

o Commerce is here to serve its members and our commitment to quality is unwavering.
