Marina and the Diamonds website analysis:The background is a blue/grey and the app buttons are also grey. The website doesn’t look very personal as it has her logo, her latest YouTube video and different links.

When pressing on music it shows you all of the different album covers that she has.

On her news link it tells you all of he latest tour dates. She also has links that will take you to her Facebook, twitter, YouTube, store, Google, iTunes, etc. Yet again the page seems mundane and doesn’t seem personalised to her.

When pressing the link archetypes it takes you to a different page which shows all of the different characters that she portrays, when clicking a characters name it takes you to a site where there are picture sof that character. Simple layout however I nice idea for the fans to see photos.

When pressing Lyrics; it takes you to another part of the site where you can press on a song title and review the lyrics of that song. I have never seen any other website doing this before, so it makes it unique.

When pressing the link downloads it allows you to sign up to her website and receive free covers and old songs to download. This is to give the audience something special that most artist wouldn’t do for free. The sign up graphic has a picture of the artist from one of her digipaks.

With the store link, the website gives the audience an opportunity to buy Marina and the diamonds merchandise.

When pressing on the photos link you are able to look at the artist preforming at different venues as well as some other photos that demonstrates her characters. You can also look at fan pictures which makes the audience feel closer to the artist.

When pressing on video, it directs you to all of her music videos that she has created.

The shows link send you to another link that can present all of her future tour

dates and venues.

After review the website it has shown to be very simple and mundane, not expressing the artist creative side which is normally in her music videos. The website wasn’t very intermit either, it seemed like it was made without much thought to the artist but only for the concept to sell her trademark.
