News from Home Happy Spring everyone! We hope everyone is well and as always it is a pleasure to be able to share with you what is happening in our lives. Thanks once more for your prayers and support as they mean so much to us. God bless you and happy reading. The big news for us is that we moved to a new apartment. It’s on the 3rd floor, which is kind of neat except for the moving in part, but once that  was finished we were quite pleased. It is a bit more spa- cious, has a neat little patio, smells better (either our down- stairs’ neighbor or previous resident smoked…a lot) and  we believe it is in a signifi- cantly safer neighborhood. Praise the Lord for His good gifts! Sinclair began ballet classes in February. She has always loved to dance, but with other girls present and a stranger instructing her, we wondered how she would do. Turns out she is quite the student. She does everything the teacher tells her to do, and she seems to really en joy the c lass. Look for her in the Nutcracker soon! Riette is not doing a whole lot that is new, persay, but she is getting older and speaking more. Her main job around the house is to be unbelievably cute and almost as stubborn. It’s hard work but someone has to do it.  As for Summur and I, we are chugging along to our 5th anni-  versary. Yay! On a personal note, I am so blessed to be mar- ried to a woman who is so supportive and so in love with Jesus. Everyday is an adventure with her, and she challenges me  with the love she has for others. The Lord has blessed her with an incredible heart, and as a result has blessed me. What a privilege it is to even know her, let alone call her my wife. So, is Modesto still standing? Don’t answer that, we’ll find out for ourselves come April. Before we left for GFA, Summur was invited to be a bridesmaid in her good friend’s  wedding. So, we thought, why not make a  week out of it and visit friends and family? The week coincides with Easter, so for our Calvary Chapel friends, we should be at church on Easter Sunday! It is nice that lunch or some other get-together please email or call us (see back page for contact info). Last newsletter I left you with 2 cliffhangers. The first was Summur’s NRB trip (see the back page for all the details). The second concerned our feeble looking Christ- mas tree. As you may recall, we shared that the tree would be planted very soon. Well, it will be officially put into the ground this Saturday! Prayer Requests: For the Lord to be glorified in all that we do here at GFA For safety as we travel home to Modesto and that it would be a sweet time of fellowship and rejuvenation For many more women missionaries to be sponsored, so that many women can come to know Jesus as their savior. For wisdom and grace as we raise our children to seek first the Kingdom of God. For our support levels to reach 100% Howdy from Carrollton! March 2011 A v isit home! And cliffhanger resolution! Praises: Sinclair said the prayer to receive Jesus in her heart! Hooray! The Lord continues to do mighty works in Asia. (See back page for 1 such story) The girls have been healthy lately Summur is fee ling much be tter too. She still gets the occasional migraine, but her stomach is much improved. We are exc ited to see you all! Praise God for our visit to Modesto in April  We got the chance to have dinner with my cousin. This is Sinclair and Riette with my cousin’s daugh- ter, Eva. The girls became fast friends, as you can see.  We went to a Dallas Maver- icks game for my birthday.  You could prac- tically see the court from where we were sitting! The ballet team, enjoying post- workout lollipops. Makes it all worthwhile... These girls are coming to a  Just a small part of the large moving team that helped us. My role was largely supervisory ;) Gospel for Asia “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him,” Hebrews 11:6 Braleys 4 Jesus
