The Lord Opens Doors  The Goshorns Step by Step Well by the me we realized we never sent out a May newsleer, it was me for June. We apologize. It has been busy. As a lot of you know, a pastor approached us about helping the children of his community with a feeding program because they lost a boy to complicaons due to malnutrion. We decided that we would and the Lord has truly blessed us. These children c ouldn’t be any sweeter. We were also asked to choreograph a dance with some of the kids so they could perform it at a large church a few miles from theirs. Katherine and Rut worked with the kids and they did an awesome job. This church doesn’t have their own building, they rent the rst oor of a house. We have a team from Crestwood UMC coming in July to help them build their own church. This building will be used for dierent acvies in the community and to send out Disciples. Our other program has had some snags, but I gure that’s just encouragement that Satan doesn’t like to have lile Disciples brought up in his community . These children are a lile rough, but we have seen a gradual change in them. One Saturday at the beginning of kids club we received a call and Jennifer and I needed to leave to sign some papers. May—June 2016  We humbly thank you for your continued  prayers and financial support. If you haven’t yet, we ask that you would  prayerfully consider financially supporting this ministry in Peru. Without more financial  partners this ministry can not continue to grow. We love you all and thank you for  being part of God’s work in Peru. The Katherine stayed and carried out the kids club and feeding program. How blessed are we:)  I traveled to Lima to pick up Mahew, Brian and Michael at the airport. Jennifer says she loves cooking for more youngsters. I guess all the kids in the feeding program don’t count:) They have been a really b ig help. God is good.  Jennifer is having the me o f her life at t he Bible study in the women's prison. Th ese women have commied murder, tracked drugs and so on. She decided to treat them to a cake one day and forgot to cut it before going to the prison. She asked the women if they had anything to cut the cake. One of the women got up and le. When she returned she looked around and took a knife out of her sleeve, cut the cake and quietly returned it to her hiding place. Jennifer and I are sll laughing.

The Goshorns Step by Step

Well by the me we realized we never sent out a

May newsleer, it was me for June. We apologize. It

has been busy. As a lot of you know, a pastor

approached us about helping the children of his

community with a feeding program because they lost

a boy to complicaons due to malnutrion. We

decided that we would and the Lord has truly blessed

us. These children couldn’t be any sweeter. We were

also asked to choreograph a dance with some of the

kids so they could perform it at a large church a few

miles from theirs. Katherine and Rut worked with the

kids and they did an awesome job. This church doesn’t

have their own building, they rent the rst oor of a

house. We have a team from Crestwood UMC coming

in July to help them build their own church. This

building will be used for dierent acvies in the

community and to send out Disciples.

Our other program has had some snags, but I

gure that’s just encouragement that Satan doesn’t

like to have lile Disciples brought up in his

community. These children are a lile rough, but we

have seen a gradual change in them. One Saturday at

the beginning of kids club we received a call and

Jennifer and I needed to leave to sign some papers.

We humbly thank you for your continued

prayers and financial support. If you

haven’t yet, we ask that you would

 prayerfully consider financially supporting

this ministry in Peru. Without more financial

partners this ministry can not continue to

grow. We love you all and thank you for

being part of God’s work in Peru.

The

Katherine stayed and carried out the kids club and

feeding program. How blessed are we:)

I traveled to Lima to pick up Mahew, Brian and

Michael at the airport. Jennifer says she loves

cooking for more youngsters. I guess all the kids in

the feeding program don’t count:) They have been

a really big help. God is good.

Jennifer is having the me of her life at the Bible

study in the women's prison. These women have

commied murder, tracked drugs and so on. Shedecided to treat them to a cake one day and forgot

to cut it before going to the prison. She asked the

women if they had anything to cut the cake. One of

the women got up and le. When she returned she

looked around and took a knife out of her sleeve,

cut the cake and quietly returned it to her hiding

place. Jennifer and I are sll laughing.

Keep the Prayers coming

We feel your prayers, please keep them coming. Last

year we told you about Keyla, a girl at the orphanage

and how she would be turning 18 and would have to

leave. We were very worried and thought she would

end up on the streets of Lima and we asked you to

pray. We haven't seen her since January and we heard

she ended up back with her mother who beat her

regularly. Jennifer had became very close with Keyla,

so when we saw her recently in Huancayo working for

a good company Jennifer and Keyla had a hard time

controlling their feelings. Thank you for your prayers.

We would like to add another prayer to your list. This is for a little 6 year old girl named

Zumilinda who lives deeper in the mountains outside

Huancayo. She turned 6 on May 13th. She has an

extreme case of scoliosis. Her family brought her toHuancayo to ind help for her because she’s in so much

such pain. There are no doctors in Huancayo that can

help her and they were told they needed to go to Lima.

The family then returned back to their home in the

mountains because they don’t have the money needed

to travel to Lima and pay for hotels or food. They

understand that Zumilinda would probably not be

totally cured, they just want her to live with less pain.

We do not know what the Lord has planned, but we do

know that we need all of you to keep them in yourprayers.

Psalm 19:10They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold;

they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the

honeycomb.

How precious are children? Jesus said in Matthew 18 when He was asked “Who is greatest in the

Kingdom of Heaven?” He replied by having a child stand by Him and said “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of heaven”

Please keep the Prayers coming, we need wisdom and strength. We also need Prayers that otherswill join us financially. We depend on the Body of Christ stepping up and joining us. We love you

all.
