Cetnarski Named First COO at Great PerformancesGreat Performances (GP), a leading caterer in New York City, has appointed Jonathan Cetnarski to the new position of chief operating officer. Formerly president and CEO of the National Gourmet Institute, Cetnarski will oversee business operations and systems for the company, joining its executive team, led by President Dean Martinus. The COO role was created to prepare GP for future growth and its upcoming relocation to a 40,000-square-foot new headquarters in the South Bronx’s Bruckner Building, where its space will nearly double GP’s current footprint in Manhattan’s Hudson Square.

“Jonathan’s deep knowledge of HR, IT and other operation depart-ments, along with his experience in the food world, will be important assets to the company,” said Liz Neumark, Great Performances CEO, who founded the company in 1980. GP earns revenues in excess of $50 million annually, based on catering and/or producing more than 3,000 events a year, and operating nine restaurants, cafes and concessions in New York City and Westchester County, N.Y.
