• Red sky in the morning, sailors warning. Red sky at night, sailors delight.

• “And boy is it ever a sunset of fate.” Said Joshua Davidson, the Life Boat’s First Mate.

3

• “What’s this I hear?” Said Mr. Davidson. “A little mouse, a little tear.”

• “I’m never going to make it, the pain runs too deep.” Cried a mousy little voice no bigger than a peep.

• “I’m not cool, I’m not hip. I might as well jump ship.”

Page 4: Mayor’s Arc

4

• “A mouse on the road, there’s no turning back.”

• “I’ll flee to an island, where this way is that.”

• “But the sea is too strong, and I am so weak.”

• “I’m capsized with fever, I can’t even think.”

• “I’ll breath my last breath, I’m ready to sink.”

So sad. I wonder what will happen to the little old lad?

Page 6: Mayor’s Arc

6

• “Awake my young mouseman, you’re safe home at last.” Said Joshua Davidson, the man from the past.

• “Tell me your name, if it not be to late. I’m Joshua Davidson, The Life Boat’s First Mate.”

Page 7: Mayor’s Arc

7

• “I’m Mayor Mouse Jr. and I’ve lost my stay. My Papa and Mama, they’re all gone away.” Said Mayor Mouse Jr. to his newly found friend, the man who had saved him from an untimely end.

8

• “We had just finished supper - - when I left to play…”

• “With Chico the kitten, on the bow - - by the bay.”

Page 9: Mayor’s Arc

9

• “But when I came back home, and seen what they’d done…

• …I left my poor family, and went on the run.”

Page 10: Mayor’s Arc

10

• “I’m here all alone. My family’s all gone. I have no more reason to keep going on.”

• “Now come on Mayor Mouse Jr., that’s no way to be.” Said our friend First Mate, Joshua D.

• “You can stay at my place, right here, with me!”

Page 11: Mayor’s Arc

11

• “So come on little buddy, jump out of bed.”

• “Open those eyes and sing a song.” He said.
