4. ORGANISATION ACTIVITIES

a. We deal with the Orphan children who have lost their beloved parents because of the HIV

AIDS. We provide them with meals three days a week. And the meals provided include: Rice,

meat, beans, fruits, drinks and vegetables.

Ingredients used to cook the meals are: cooking oil, tomatoes and onions.

We have a cooking team of eight ladies who are committed to cook food for the orphans and

have volunteered to do it without any salaries.

b. We help them with:

School Uniforms, Medical Treatments, School fees, Stationary: Exercise books, Pens & pencils

Shoes, Soaps and School Bags

5. We have Five Orphans Day Centres

a. USHIRIKA CENTER

There are 250 children in this center, which is 80 kilometres away from Mbeya City

Centre alongside the Highway to Malawi Border in the villages.

b. ITETE (IGEMBE) WARD CENTER

This center has 300 orphans and it is located 70 kilometres away from Mbeya City centre in the

village which is 8 kilometres away from the Highway Mbeya/Malawi Road.

c. MBEYA ORPHANS DAY CARE CENTER

This centre is located at Mwajelwa Mafiat Area center of the city with 250 orphans.

d. MBOZI ORPHANS DAY CARE CENTER

This center is alongside the Highway of Tanzania Zambia Road. This center has 250 Orphans.

e. TUKUYU ORPHANS DAY CARE CENTER

This center is located in Tukuyu, about 60 kilometers from Mbeya City. This center has 250

Orphans.

6. CHILDREN.

The children in all these centers are aged from 4 – 15 years.

8. MONTHLY EXPENDITURES

Each Day care centers expenses with food, treatments, school uniforms, school fees, soaps, stationary,

and shoes costs around USD 250 per month.

10. OUR APPEAL

With great Respect and Honour, we are requesting for funds assistance from the Donors to receive and

hear our cry to support the Orphans who are struggling very hard seeking help to be fed and treated.

Our total monthly expenditure for all five centres is USD 900 – 1000.
