I like the title of this magazine as it is short and simple, I like the idea of a short title but I am not sure if I will use a short title as I want my title to use up most of the top of the page. I also like the colour of the title as it stands out well against the models hair and also against the block colour background. It also catches your eye as it is colourful and large, so consistent readers will be able to find the magazine quickly, and new readers will be attracted to the magazine as it jumps out at them. GQ often use popular and well known celebrities on their covers as it attracts many people to read the magazine. They also get attractive celebrities to be on the cover so that they look appealing to people who wouldn’t usually buy the magazine. GQ also use colourful fonts for their taglines so that they fit in with the colour scheme and colours of the main titles and are visible against the background. I like the way that the fonts are all different across the page and how it categorizes each tag line. Also, they have not used too much text around the page, as some people find too much text over powering, however I would still prefer less The clothing worn by the male on this cover also matches the genre of the magazine, as it is very smart and executive. As Zayne is wearing a tailored coat, which is usually associated with smart and high end people, this goes well with the magazine look and genre. I really like the colour scheme of this magazine cover, as it all matches well. There are touches of white and red all over the page, and they are also used together a lot, which ties all the colours together well. I also like the way that either the white or red font is used as the main title of a tag line, which is then followed by a sentence to state what this story involves in the opposite The lighting used for this photo compliments the cover of the magazine well, as the male almost matches the colour scheme as the lighting gives him a silver, ghostly glow. This the contrasts the deep red, and I would like to use this type of technique in my magazine as I think this looks really good and makes the magazine look more executive and a lot smarter, which is something I want with my magazine.

Also, they have not used too much text around the page, as some people find too much text over powering, however I would still prefer less writing, as I want my magazine to be clean and modern.

The clothing worn by the male on this cover also matches the genre of the magazine, as it is very smart and executive.

I also like the way that either the white or red font is used as the main title of a tag line, which is then followed by a sentence to state what this story involves in the opposite colour, to create a contrast between the colours.

The lighting used for this photo compliments the cover of the magazine well, as the male almost matches the colour scheme as the lighting gives him a silver, ghostly glow. This the contrasts the deep red, and I would like to use this type of technique in my magazine as I think this looks really good and makes the magazine look more executive and a lot smarter, which is something I want with my magazine.
