YOUNG PEOPLE MUST BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN DECISION-MAKING PROCESSESYoung people are the most numerous section of the global population and, for the next three decades, the main stakeholders in a sustainable future.

Despite this fact, they are under-represented when it comes to policies being defined and implemented.

Without a strong demand for a sustainable future, contingent interests prevail when decisions are made, and the pace of change is too slow. To change this course, young people must be able to strongly influence decision-making processes.

Their voice must be listened to and urgently considered everywhere in the world, where the decisions are made, first of all at local level.
